As much as I like the idea of a personal record tracker, this breaks it for me as well. A weekly rotation?

True enough. A few months ago I might have had time for it, now I don't. They've had a lot of people's attention over the last year or so with the lock downs, people working from home, etc, but that's changing. These grindy events may have to be rethought.

I am glad, that you like that. Gives a bit more to focus on and to gather some rewards.

Of course, it also brings the option to gather rewards from fresh start. Just imagine, that there would be no reset whatsover during the entire update. In late stages you would have all of those 1500+ XP missions left on classes you don't prefer and therefore very complicated to get those rewards.

Yeah, I get that, I'm not daft thank you very much. A weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek? <- maybe that helps.

What I like about it is a stimulans to play a lot of different ships and nations. But when the whole lot is reset every week, that incentive is basically taken away, especially for people who only play 3 battles a day a couple of days a week. Too much fixation on rewards, not on gameplay.

I do like the Idea, too.

I think you can build upon it.

Can you implement some kind of "Elite-Trails" like get 3k BXP in [class] or get 3 heroic achivments in one battle, kill 6 opponents in one battle.... etc. things that are hard to very hard to achive.

As rewards I was thinking about a SC, 200-500 Steel, 2k Sealclub-points... something in that range.

IMHO that would be motivating.

Like @Europizza said, maybe better reset the thing all 2-3 weeks.

How about a month. I'd like it way better with that timeframe. Or how about being able to reset the challange manually? Instead of another feature 'junkie edition'.

Well, with 3 weeks of a month, you would basically have the reset in next update. So it wouldn't make sense.

Now I'm puzzled, how would that not make sense? O wait, it's a temporary thing? :fish_palm:

Well you have 4 resets but you get the same prizes after a reset no? So you actually have it easier if you want solely the prize, if you want to challenge yourself you can just ride one ship class and nation until the end?

Great, that is exactly not what I would be looking for in a feature like this. I'm looking for a challenge to replay lots of different ships and nations over a longer timeframe, not grinding some bloody tokens as much as possible in a short one. :Smile_amazed:

I see it's linked to the 'prerelease' of the german battleships. So it all makes 'sense' now. Dissapointed yet again /*sadface*/

Well this is the first time we have it, I am sure there will be different implementations following we dont have early access all the time anyway...

Maybe they lengthen it in the future with some different prizes, no reason they cant make them T2+ either :Smile_glasses:

Well, we released these personal challenges for the first time now and we put current arc stuff there.

There is a big possibility, that those will return in future and who knows, they can be also constant feature of the game in future.

WG have checked their spreadsheets and decided that their average customer cannot earn 300 BXP below T5.

Where can you find an overview of the personal challenges completed?

edit - found. It's in the "Combat Missions" tabimage.png.af2a40866dcc42d392eb441071ce816e.png

That would be great, especially if it is designed to accomodate casual players more. And by that I mean gameplay incentives, not set up as an alternate mission factory for grinding tokens for some short timed event.

Question: why is there no personal challange for my premium italian destroyer? :Smile_amazed:

I haven't played yet (still at work), but I took a gander. It looks nice, no limited attempts, runs in the background, first level is easily doable in coop.

As someone who has a lot of ships, I can say it gives an extra incentive to play ships I don't usually play.

A big thumbs up from me @YabbaCoe to the WG team.

@YabbaCoe Any idea when we'll hear more about the lighthouse event? I think it was meant to begin today according to the website? Cheers

Personal challenges are only for those nations and lines, that has tech tree. So unfortunately you can't finish those missions with IT DDs, or Commonwealth ships etc.

Thanks. It's no biggie, but why is that? Any idea? :Smile_amazed:
