I might bid 1000 but I have a suspicion that some will pay 20,000 or more. I do feel this is better than loot boxes though as at least you only pay if you actually receive the item. What if they offer a Musashi or a Smolensk? I'm pretty sure many will offer more than 50,000 dubloons for these ships. It is, as of now, the only chance to acquire these ships, so the stakes will go high. For the Schlieffen, I don't know. I will not spend 1,000 dubloons for it. I do have a ton of dubs tbh, but ain't spending 1 bit on these stupid auction. Plus I want to enjoy the grind of the line, as from the vids and streams I have watched, the entire line is a solid line of battleships, with no real low point (maybe apart from the T9). So I'll try to get the T3, as I already own the T4 via prime gaming superiority complex, and if I do continue, I will get the T5 from the event, and no more. The change rate is 1:25, so you have to spend 12,360 dubloons to buy the line either way. This is the absolute maximum every player should bit. Every dubloon more is really stupid, you gain nothing. Sometimes they offer a 1:35 rate, which is 8,828 dubloons for the FXP and a far better deal. The crux with this bidding is that you need the dubloons to bid, even if your offer doesn't win you still have to visit the dubloon store.
