What do you think Double-CV games with 4 subs will be like in terms of enjoyment for the main (i.e. gun-ship) player-base?  If they're not enjoying the game, the main player-base will vote with their feet. I already have; not a dime spent since subs came in.

you had co-op and ranked, now let ranked be without and have co-op and random.

I'm still very against the Personal challenges; but i mean... you never listen to us so...; the only change you did was to allow T5 to take part but... whatever; i was already palnning to grind the line from scratch; i'll see if i can maybe get Von der Tann; but i don't care much anyway.

 

This is... both bad in a sense and pointless

 

As always, nice to see Twilight Hunt; i love the gamemode so much  i'll just spam it during the 3 weeks it's going to be available.

 

You already know what we think about Subs in randoms, there's already a thrad about it, so go and check that one out.

 

the UI changes are nice as always.

So, where I can pause my premium time? I'm almost exclusively random battles player, loathe the subs, and don't want to play a single battle with them, so it's only fair that I could save my remaining time for when subs are no longer in randoms. Right?

These aberrations bare no resemblance to any Submarines tech specs ever  built in the time period this game is supposed to cover and probably since, PS your not supposed to play this game if you are under 7 years old. Just going by your reply,

CT has been nerfed too. Either a SC for the full prize of 6k CT ( if you have ships left from the drop pools rather take your chances with the 3 types of recruitment containers) or 3 specific ships..

 

 IV Ishizuchi for  10,000 Community Tokens.

 V Exeter for  15,000 Community Tokens. 

 VII Leningrad for  20,000 Community Tokens

 

Before the random T7 was triple the price of the random T5.  Value wise they are now much closer (2800 vs 4300 vs 5550) but compared to the old 10K CT the reward was better then the fixed value of the Ishizuchi.

 

IMO WG not only killed the doubloon trick with CT, they also nerfed the overall reward value fast.

As for the rewards from the German BC. T3-T7 for free ( if you sacrifice enough free time) and only the T7 perm camo. A bit cheap compared to other intro events..Atleast throw in the T8 perm camo ( can be an ugly one, ship cannot be made less ugly anyway)

 

On the plus-side: Dont forget the one day premium and 125 CT tokens hidden in the news.

Subs in Randoms = I can see a lot of free time for other activities coming up.

 

And as far as you "listening to what community wants" - by your own admission your target for subs is 4-8% of player base, let's put it at 6%. You will appease 6% to piss off 94%. Good economics. I hope it works out for you in Tra-La-La-La-Land. If I was working at WG I'd start looking what my unemployment benefits will be.

It's not the subs, it's the homing torps.

They are game breaking. How can they balance ships with and without homing torps?

The subs have homing torps, but DD and Cruisers don't? Why? They are not in a good relations with the quartermasters, so they don't get the torps?   

Because they all share the same timeline.

Many will take that route, however its not for you to tell people what to do, everyone is allowed an opinion. Being part of naval warfare does not automatically mean they fit or are right for the game.

Probably because of those stupid, fugly refits WG put on those poor ships. Notice that Prinz Eitel Friedrich is also excluded because she has a (hypothetical) WW2 refit (e.g. secondary/AA armament, bow). Luckily, for PEF it was tastefully done, unlike that shambolic stuff on Kaiser, König und Bayern.

Personally I am looking at stopping premium time and playing much less, sticking to tech tree lines. I mean with subs in randoms that's going to limit the potential to grind out credits and make many objectives impossible for me to achieve. Why chase targets I can no longer get.

  Just accept the game as was is over and move on to play differently or play a different game.
