Buy the containers with community tokens. You need 8k in this case to finish.

@The_EURL_Guy can you confirm that every participant does get the King of the Sea Flag with the Commander XP and Credit Bonuses (like the Article says), not depending on the placement?

So my question what happens to the collection if I am still short 1-2 pieces after the 11 maximum available? Will it just stay there forever like an eyesore and a constant reminder of another thing in my life I failed to complete?

What does "will be retired" mean though?

• Does it only imply that there won't be any additional KOTS containers available in the future so some people might not be able to complete the collection?
• Or does it imply that the entire collection is going to be removed and anyone who hasn't finished it up until then will lose the collected items, duplicates and containers?

Just asking. I'm sitting on an unfinished collection with enough duplicates to instantly complete it, but i haven't done that so far because i want to activate the premium time only when i'm actually playing.

The article states that there are no more opportunities to get the needed containers other than by spending community tokens. The event will continu but without this type of rewards for the viewers.

 

I do not understand why you do not complete the collection by now,  as you only miss up to 4 premium days. I think you have your priorities wrong at this point. By completing and obtaining 1 new container from twitch you get 1 permanent camouflage for the NC too. So think again....

The article also states: " The King of the Sea collection, comprising 16 elements, will be retired after the end of the tournament, so be sure to finish it now and collect its very attractive completion rewards"

And considering all the trouble with WG's wording in the past, i want to make sure that "retired" doesn't actually mean "removed".

 

Considering my hesitation on completing the collection: I am a f2p player, apart from 89 Cent spent on Cossack back then. Hence i am managing my free premium days and don't just activate them for the sake of activating. Unfinished collections with enough duplicates in the bank are my long time staple for this purpose since (contrary to missions, login and armory bonuses), there hasn't been any time limit on them so far. I am sitting on 77 premium ships with enough resources to instantly get about another ten or so on top of that, so i am not in a hurry to get the T7 premium container. As long as i finally get it, it's fine for me to activate the associated premium days only when needed.

 

The NC perma camo certainly is nice, but i'm still sitting on 3 "stuck-on-attachment" perma camos on T8, so missing it wouldn't hurt that much. I'm not saying that i won't complete the collection in time to snatch it, i'm just asking for clarification on the wording.

I have received a KoTs ship in the past before WG bought out the original creators of KoT's can i collect again and receive another ship? Is the collection repeatable?

No, it is the other flag. The flag you will get just for participation is the one, that looks like Jelly Roger. But the flag with bonuses are only for winners.

As was mentioned here, after this KoTS there will be no option to collect KoTS containers during KoTS. But the collection will still be there, it won't be removed.

a nice thing to let people finish their KoTS collection and get a free ship and let the current people that already finish it to get a really nice camo for NC which reminds me a bit of Arcadia in captain Harlock which i really love - i just hope it has a decent time to completed and i dont have to sacrifice kids/cats or puppies to finish it on time :)

Unfortunately no, this collection is not repeatable.

In that case no point watching another one lol, especially because the good original concept will have monetisation and gambling crates attached to it no later than the next one is my guess, and will be heavily policed and censored in chat, with no perceived negativity or awkward questions allowed. Just NO....peace out :).

Double check in Settings -> Controls that this option is enabled.

Already got the T7 ship, maybe it's just me and those i talk too but for those of us who have already got the ship their is no incentive to watch KoT's anymore. Certainly not for a few resource crates especially as the last KoT's was a complete disaster the future doesn't bode well. Also as the original designers have been bought out by you the likely hood is in this or future KoT's will be nothing but a hard sell mode for WG where you censor anything you don't like  in chat, plus you simply can't resist monetising everything you touch, i see KoT's being no different. You should consider allowing players to collect again for another T7 ship, it's nothing but a digital item, costs you nothing as the ships are already out there and it takes a year or more KoT's to earn this mid tier ship, 18 months if you miss just one piece.

OK can someone explain me how when I will get N.Carolina camo mission , cause I have got drop but no Camo mission , from site is written that mission will be "completable" after 0.10.10 go life .

What that means ?
