Cruisers and Destroyers: Please learn how to play these ships.

I am sick to death of being a battleship and going to help some of your cruisers and destroyers at the beginning of the match only for them to see a few reds and then turn tail and leave as fast as they can while you are stuck there trying to turn around get out of there.

Because your spotting, speed, and overall manoeuvrability is so bad it's usually too late and you get over run. I really wish these people would learn how to play these ships. I'm talking about Tier VII and above so there is no excuse but bad playing.

Up to now, you have less than 300 battles. So, I suggest you learning to play the game before opening threads where you want to blame players having already thousands of matches.

You don't need many battles to use common sense.

Have something else you want to say?

BTW: I have the intelligence to grasp things in a relatively short time unlike some who need thousands of battles in order to learn how to play the game.

Not really.

How about you explain it for the class?

BTW: Has nothing to do with amount of battles or anything. How about you explain it from an in game perspective?

Like all classes there are good and bad players,

my personal favourite was a DD asking for support so am firing shells into the BB that has them spotted because they firing at the BB.

they then sat stationary in smoke so took my visibility away whilst staying still in smoke and surprise the BB blipped them.

Cue moaning about lack of support.

pointed out that if they had stopped firing then would have gone invisible as outside detection range and would not be spotted whilst I continued to shoot the visible BB for him.  When smoked up then lost visibility of the BB.  Cue silence.

though the shimakaze that moaned that unfair that halland had radar and that all DD have smoke comes a close second.   Even his own team which had me in it ridiculed them in chat for that,

for every DD like that there is a BB just as bad.   Played convoy and a Kansas sailed to the starting point of the convoy route and sat behind a rock so no firing position on the convoy.

then there are the GK players that seem to think hit W and ride the blaze to glorious death by HE before get to secondary range is good as well.

all classes have there examples of crap players.   There are also times when a good DD player or BB player saved the game.   Don’t disparage the entire class of players though.

The game is based around the lowest common denominator as the gunnery system used to somewhat more complex and the game far less forgiving, also peegee hates giving in-depth tuts and forcing the player to learn how to play the game.

It's why i prefer PVE or 1v1's as you only have your self to blame really.

I'm not disparaging all players. I am calling out the ones who choose these ships but don't know how to play them. Was just in a battle where myself in a battleship went with the a DD and a cruiser. The moment three reds popped up the two just legged it. It was three vs three so why leave? If you know how to play the ship then you know how to engage but if you just want to fly around in the safety of everyone else not wanting to get your paint scratched then play something else. You can't start to support a battleship and then turn around and run the moment you see a red. It's terrible teamwork.

There are poor players across all the classes, but mistakes are punished far more harshly and visibly in DDs and CVs.  Nevertheless, as you play the game more you'll start to recognise situations where you need to disengage earlier in a BB, or push on in as appropriate.  We'll never get to a state where everyone across the board is competent, so just focus on improvements you can make in your own play.

Yes, using this analogy, there is a statement you should carefully thinking of:

Dumb people do not know they are dumb.

Why?

Feel free to replace dumb with bad/unskilled players.

Did you also use "common sense" to reach the stunning 46% winrate of yours?

If yes, I strongly recommend to overthink your game/life choices!

edit:

The Whale Force is strong with this one, I just saw...

What do stats have to do with teammates asking you to support and then turning around and leaving the moment it's even?

How about some of you actually articulate this instead of just looking at someone's stats and going "uhhhhhhhhhh get better stats mate derpdy derp derp"?

It shows a real lack of thought and brain power to be honest.

Whale Force?

Spending a few quid on ships is being a whale? I'm afraid you are either poor or just out of the loop on what constitutes a whale.

You continue to dodge what has been put before you. Are you not articulate enough to explain? Do you know what that word even means?

Do you?

Complaining about bad team mates and achieving your results does not compute together.

You ARE the very problem you complain about.

And this is the Dunning-Kruger-Effect at its best!

Yeah, that must be the reason.
