Mikoyan in Premium V container.

Hi there,

 

Not sure if anybody asked this before. I just got the T5 cruiser Mikoyan, all nice and dandy, but has anybody got it as well in the Dockyard Event? I am not actively playing it but whatever comes, let it be I say.

During these last 2 years I also received other Russian premium cruisers: Kirov, Molotov and Ochakov. I have hardly played a couple of battles in them.

So now I have 4 premium Russian cruisers that I don't use :)

Is WG pushing them onto players even for free through special containers to inflate the number of Russian cruisers in the game (for whatever reason) or just pure coincidence?

I got the Mikky in the Premium Tier V container. It has *very* good guns but a tinplate hull.

 

IIRC there are more Russian cruisers in the game than any other type of ship, so you are more likely to get one of those than anything else from a random drop. Great if you like them, but I can't say I do. Much too squishy.

As far as I know, that is the list:

One of the following Tier V ships: Texas, Genova, Okt.Revolutsiya, Exeter, Marblehead / Lima, Krasny Krim, Murmansk, Okhotnik, Hill, Yahagi, Siroco, Kirov, Mikoyan, or Viribus Unitis.

 

There are 15 ships and 3 (4) RU Cruisers.

you get all the ships what that container drops, after that you start get doubloons

My condolences :(.

 

I got the Mikoyan for free from some event, and it wasn't worth even the zero EURO/dubs that it cost me. It actively upsets me to see that POS in my port (but not enough to sell it, or I might get another one).

yep got the mikky as well but ehh I had most of the other 5s already

Since I have Mikoyan and Kirov, I've got Marblehead. Worse version of Omaha or Murmansk. But there are still other bad ships, like Genova... :-(

I see, so it's not only the Mikki Moko, it's a list of mediocre T5 Premium Ships and I just had bad luck.

For me it was Marblehead Lima - since I already had the normal Marblehead, this was just useless.

No they want a lot of rubbish "premium" ships so that they can drop some turd now and again from loot boxes just to keep the peoples interest up, don´t worry no good ship will drop before you have acquired all rubbish ships, don´t sell them, they are good as a vaccine against ever having them drop again

To be fair, Mikoyan does have exactly one redeeming feature: it's guns.

 

Shame she doesn't have enough of them, and about the rest of her though..

Lima is the capital city of Peru or...a green fruit (a citric, similar to the lemon). Also a file, the kind of abrasive tool.
