When are the SEA MINES coming?

I had a bad dream last night and i dreamt WG planned to intorduce & sell Sea Mines as a consumable to make more money

 

Please inform us when the Sea Mines are coming so my life as a DD main get's even more ******

Sea Mines where a real and big part in naval warfare so there is really no argument why we should not start using them

 

So tell me why are you slacking on this WG?

They used all mines from storage on servers in Dunkirk operation, when they've run out of mines they had no choice but to remove this operation from rotation.:cap_haloween:

The premium version of Sea Mines would mean that they are guided in some way.  Maybe, attach them to dolphins?

Sea mines were certainly a big part of warfare in the period WOWS is set and although they would probably have a negative effect on the game (discouraging pushing etc) when has that ever stopped WG. 
 

Probably not soon but with these guys I certainly wouldn’t rule it out. Maybe submarine deployed magnetic mines will be a new premium option.

Maybe some normal fish and birds first? i mean wows is like a dead desert and not immersive in that way..

You know what, F*ck it!! Just do it. Add random mine fields on all the maps, spawn them differently every time. Call it (true) surprise mechanic.

nope, random map generated mine fields do not make WG money. Sea mines as a consumable would make them shitloads of money..

I know the mines are coming we al know it, just when?

That RNG aspect would actually bring something exciting to the game. So it will not be implemented.

Additionally, it would widen the skill gap. Those able to use any of in-game map functionalities would get unfair advantage.

True, but I love the idea of it.

There will always be potato's for sure. But each Unicom player knows exactly where to go on each map as it is. Mixing it up would even that out for all imo.

 

But hey ho, this is just dreaming as it ain't gonna happen.

- Land based artillery when cap is captured

- Suicide subs

- Anti air balloons

- Zeppelins

- Sea currents pushing campers forward

- Floating oils spillage from sunken ships that can be ignited with HE spam

- Spy/deserter ships that get bonusses for killeng teammembers

- Extra consumables like rum and vodka to enhance captain and crew skills

- Researchable Crew skills ( a potential goldmine)
