Pacific mission stage get three destroyed ribbons

So far played over 40 games. Finding it near impossible to get three destroyed ribbons . A mixture of coop and random battles. A bit disappointing.  Every body in same boat(pardon the pun).  Give my best shot

Your best bet, IMO is along the following lines:

• Play Coop only, and at antisocial hours if possible; anywhere near prime time, and there is a good chance that the bulk of your team will be trying to do the same thing. You want a team with as few human players on it as possible.
• Pick a suitable ship of the right nation (I had US; is there an IJN equivalent mission?); ideally, you want fast, with torps, and probably a DD (although I did it the first time with GA - the speed boost gets you amongst your prey much faster).
• Don't forget that the mission can be done at T4 - Clemson is a superior choice.
• If you can, take something with ASW; you don't want to miss your chance if you get in a battle with some daft bugger who wants to play subs (I did one of mine via the third kill being a ram on a surfacing submarine).

Basically though, the key thing is to play at weird hours; when I played to get the mission (and the subsequent 'top three' one) I got three+ kills several times in succession, and I'm a pretty poor player - it was all because most of my team were bots in almost every case.

I did mine with Hill, after some trial, error and frustration. 

 

I think the Tier IV-V US DDs are the way to go - they have lots of torpedoes, and in Tier V Co-op the Bot BBs can't dodge anything even vaguely on target.  US BBs are too slow until you get to Tier IX, and at that Tier there's 18 inch shells flying 25km or more and torpedo soup for anyone that wants it, it's so difficult to get more than 2 kills. Atlanta works (I did the ludicrous Brazil 200 main battery hit mission with it as well!) but the other cruisers don't have torps and lack that brawling power you need.

Got those 3 Destroyed ribbons in my Benham after like 4 Coop-Battles. Without even thinking of that particular mission.

Finished off a sub with very few HP left. So I got lucky too.

 

My best advice for you:

 

Pick a destroyer youre familiar with and play Coop late in the evening/at night.

You would increase your chances a lot to score 3 kills.

Did this mission at the first try with Georgia.

Rushed the cap in front of me with engine boost activated, melted down a dd and a cruiser with main + secondary battery then flanked and killed a bb.

I dunno if it was luck or not, but i think Georgia is good for this type of mission due to her abnormous speed she can reach.

I believe that the online campaign is indeed T4 plus; this is the last one that I got:

 

 

That said, there is something to be said for doing these missions in T5+ ships, as you won't be doing many other missions at the same time in a T4.

 

I imagine the reason most people (including me) suggested Clemson is that in the specific case of the above mission, she is monstrously effective...

I stand corrected. And tbh, I'd suggest Okhotnik over Clemson if you're going to go full *edited* to the wall like that.

(The only snag with Okhotnik in Coop at the moment is that she got the 'no ASW' nerf that WG swear blind isn't a nerf, plus - of course - she's not a suitable nationality for the mission in question...)

Did it in Georgia on NA. Got seriously frustrated in the beginning thanks to DDs on the torp hit kill spree, and bots moving the wrong way / me spawning in the wrong spot. Blew a few opportunities myself, eventually got it with, and then had like 5 games in a row getting the 3 kills.

Get up early and play Coop with Clemson or something similar at low tiers. It's pretty impossible to get less than 3 kills in T4 Coop if your team is full of bots (though a lot of human players are doing even worse).

Shame, as she's made for it. I suppose the Nicky would also work with all those torps as well..

Sadly Okho is not an American ship, so she does not qualify here...

I would probably have stayed with my campaign workhorse, the Kuma, if the national requirement would not have forced me to pick a U.S. ship.

Did mine with torp Monahan in coop got it within 3 tries I think. As mentioned, try in the off hours as it's more favourable when others aren't in there with the same idea.

Maybe I got lucky, but killed 2 DDs and a cruiser in my first coop game with Fletcher.

I find CO OP too unreliable for kills as it’s such a race against teammates so I went for a high rate of fire in random battles. 
 

I was lucky and got 4 kills in my Des Moines in the first attempt but my back up plan was Omaha given her guns and torps.

Played 1 or 2 games with Clemson in Randoms and did Kraken. Early morning there are less players so teams filled with bots. Those yolo in so you just torp them down.

Did it 1st try with Sims and 7km torps on coop, gun down a dd, torp a cruiser and a bb, voila

did all in just 3 battles - first battle to get the 3 kills, next 2 battles to be top of the team - all in coop, way too easy

Did it in Co-op in second try with Ohio. My secondary finished 2 in a brawl and rammed the other bot Ohio
