Update 0.10.8: World of Warships Anniversary

Important question for anyone that can answer me!

I own Friesland and as I understand, come 10.8, it will be swapped with her identical clone, Gron if I have done something in the Armory.

I haven't. 

Will it be swapped automatically with update 10.8 since i've done nothing, or will it remain as Freisland in the port? or do I lose the ship completely?

So unfortunately there won't be any Festive bonuses on Subs, as there are never those on rented ships.

No, you will keep the ship if you haven't done anything. Like go to the inventory and finger the exchange button.

Ha? No it's different playstyle then Kaga. Yes it sufferers more because it can't handle blobbing and has an issue in T10 MM. If someone doesn't know how to play CV well - then it will be very hard to do anything significant. But for those who know how to play CVs - it's good. On some situation borderline OP. If you suffer playing then all Russian CV line is crap for you. Which isn't the case imho for those who know how to play it. 

Pro tip - you try strike big targets. So almost like FDR, a damage farmer.

you probaply not even have that. it can launch only 1 attack in time while kaga have 3 attacks

 

and imagine now if they doge first attack. you need again launch the planes with this crap

 

this crap need allot more engine boosts than other CV have if it stay same like it is right now

As I said - not easy. There's a word in Polish "kombinować" and it describes exactly how you have to play it. It has its own limitation and against good players you suffer. You need to utilise Island cover even more than other CVs, use the smoke to strike from it's cover, and utilize the range on torps and skip bombs. Mostly try to attack a target that is busy with other things. 

I can play on GZ and many times having big influence on the battle. So I'll be doing well on that one too. I'm going to buy it tomorrow.

useless crap ship. while kaga you can manage make easily 100k with this ship you lucky if you get 50k

These are stats from the last 21 days on GZ . The B version is not secondary build btw, pure plane armament dmg.

In the patch notes WG mentioned you can set it in preferences.xml once - so that you don't need to keep keep changing engine_config.xml every time WoWS gets updated.

Can someone please explain how a submarine can detect a destroyer inside a smoke when the submarine are at 30 meters depth??  Common WG, how about trying to program submarines to be realistic, surface and periscope for spotting, dive to get away and stay undetected but "blind".

well radars and hydro's should not really show the ship either at inside smoke. they only should show location in scanner aka minimap

Just fyi WG the ''Forward Bound'' camo for Nakhimov does not show up in the Camo section of the Captain's Logbook. (The camo's for Komsomolets, Serov, Pobeda and Chkalov do show up)

Dude you just need to get used to it and know it's weak and strong sides. The Russian line will be very similar to that one, just instead of dive bombers you get rockets.
