Have to say that I agree with MTM78 that such comments are stupidly insensitive. I truly hope that people never find out (unfortunately they will), but the terror (and I don't use the word lightly) that the victim and the family go through, I would not wish on my worst enemy. I shall put it down to one of those thoughtless comments that we all sometimes make.

Hum, MM is different : you can get in a tier X game with a tier VI...

Its +4, not +2 here....

I've played quite a few tier VI battles and I never saw a tier X ship, so I guess it's +3 maximum, or I'm just privileged?

You can certainly see tier X with a Cleveland which is tier 6, but I seem to recall it only happening with very low server population. I always assumed the MM tried to keep the spread as small as possible considering the ships in queue within a certain time. It certainly wasn't a frequent occurrence.
