Watched part of Mrconway & Crysantos on Twitch, just shrugged off criticism and read out chat posts that sucked up to them, sigh 😌

Yes, I lasted about five minutes until the fixed " all is fine" smiles made me switch off.

Give it a month, even just a few weeks, and most people will have forgotten. 90% of those who say "I hate WG, I won't give them any more money" will keep playing, and eventually pay again because they say that at every WG shitstorm. And WG knows it, they've just walked through hundreds of them. They don't really have any reason to be bothered by it.

It's just your usual thursday in WoWs here. As horrible as it sounds, nothing new or consequential has actually happened in the past week.

It was cringe worthy, reminiscent of Pravda in the late 80s.

Extremely selective, did laugh when they finished on "Don't be a [edited]!".

EDIT:  WG can say it on live twitch, playerbase can't say it on a forum.  I guess "some are more equal than others"  TM George Orwell.

Imagine being called "the short of Richard and WG constantly censoring you name....Richardheads.

Well let’s be honest for all the complaining nothing has changed for WG, they are still flooded with people willing to buy loot boxes and the vast majority of people have probably not even noticed there was any kind of outcry.

They will only care and address things when the income stream is hit, either by boycott, legislation, or the death of the game.

TBH  the stream was not as bad as I expected.. They did tackle some difficult questions. I didn't like all of the answers,  but I guess that's my problem/

I cringed at their guest's decision to share the results of his DNA tests, quite tasteless in the wake of the Yuro affair. WTF does he expect us to share his (Boggzy's) obsession with race?

I had it running in the background (so I get the rewards) but I did hear a little bit - they mentioned that the Russians are quite blunt and they used that as the reason for the abuse dished out to the CCs.

I grew up in Perth Western Australia and am usually quite blunt.   However, there is a world of difference between being blunt and abusive.

And there's a difference between being blunt and arrogant on top :-)

The campaign to get the game's PEGI rating re-assessed might work. If a game which *shows* gambling has to be an 18 rated game, then surely a game which *features* it has to be 18 rated?

That is why they will ignore you. The only way to get them to listen is to actually STOP PLAYING. Simple as that. Not stopping playing their game, but complaining this vocally just emphasizes to WG that it's safe to ignore playerbase.

Is that really their excuse? That is just such utter male cow excrement it's actually shameful.

Guys, they don't care.

Sadly you're right. You know what they do care about: people stopping playing their game.

so, play a different game?

the behavioural addiction/habituation of the game is an irritation, but there are literally thousands of others to play.

I agree it has nothing to do with nationality, but everything to do with individual and company culture. Russians are not especially "blunt", there are all sorts, just like anywhere else in the world. No need to use it as an excuse for brutish behaviour. That Conway and Crysantos were really hoping to brush off attitude and relational problems came across quite clearly, e.g Yuro made a "mistake" which is understatement of the year.  Yuro's apology was even praised.. *sorry about those background noises, that's me vomiting. They even suggested that Mouse was exaggerating (some) issues, not once admitting serious relational problems within the WOWS team globally and poor employee retention issues in NA (Kalvothe, only had to give 2 weeks notice, his subordinates only learnt of his departure week ago! In my country a manager has to give 3 months - we often give more.) There is a lack of professionalism in certain areas of WGWOWS.

I dont usually think negative, but the way WG is showing themselves in full out ignorance, if for example every player would stop playin wows in protest, they will sack all the devs and shut down the servers rather then admit anything or change. :cap_old:

Mate, I've been saying this for months.

But a great many people have sunk far too much in to this game to just give up on it.

There would have to be some form of legal challenge, followed by WG compensating people, I think.
