So basically if I want to purchase the MIssouri using my hard earned money I need to grind my way through their little event in order to be given permission to give Wargaming my money. 

 

I have to hand it to WG - they really know how to raise the bar when it comes to being a scummy company. I mean I have been around gaming for a long time and I can't remember ever seeing anything so disrespectful to a customer base. 

 

Kudos to you but not something you should be proud of. I would say even Bobby Kotick and Andrew Wilson are impressed.

I felt treated like crap so I finally uninstalled. Jingles worded my sentiment perfectly.  I used to buy stuff in wows because I was happy to pay for the fun and awesome ships. And then things changed. The game got pay and grind walls up to the ceiling and started to pressure me in abusive ways to pay up. I hate being pushed into buying things. So I stopped buying their crap. Loot box started to come out of every dark Ruskin hole. I hate gambling even if it's free. Their next step was dumbing down the level of gameplay so that anyone could enjoy their gambling trap,. Which made playing the game unbearable on top. So I uninstalled in the end.

Yes, they are needed. It still feels low and i don't know why/s  but 33% sounds more correct.

 

In current iteration, below game result with 20% combat mission gave 171.182 silver credits for 855.906 base credits. If the multiplier was 33%, it would give 282.449 silver. And everything in total would be 2.165.443 instead of 2.054.176. Yes, we are talking about only 110K difference in 2M game but this is how it should be.

Other countries are starting to follow suit as lootboxes are now banned in Belgium. All it will take is for the rest of the EU to head that way and WG are screwed. I wouldn't doubt the reason we are seeing more aggressive displays of monetization is because they know the lootbox end is near.

Put all the flags and credit camo to Neustra or any other prem T9, you'll make the same or similar amount of credit. This is low for original Missouri which is the point, and I'm sure you can even make more with Kobayashi than the current iteration of Missouri.

It's interesting. In the stream Conway went through great length to explain that in their systems missions can't interact with modifiers like flags. Let me ask a simple question: why design a solution that your own systems can't support? And then implement it.  What the fck are your designers smoking?? Why not simply copy the bloody ship, call it Missouri Celebration Edition and remove the extra credit earnings from that one?

Makarov was somewhat rare ship before last Xmas. Thanks to WG putting it in every loot box they could find, it lost that status and became hated ship.

As I understand it from wookie_legend, there is another option: when the event starts and if you have enough dubloons you can write WG, tell them you want the Missouri and they will deduct you the dubs and give you the ship. Dunno if a staff member can confirm this, but this way you can bypass the grind missions.

Nope, it requires the grind on both accounts as far as I understand. Once you finished the grind, THEN you can purchase the ship in the premium store for the full price in your currency directly, or alternatively, if you want to buy it for ingame dubloons, you can contact customer support which will do the exchange for you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
