Guess it shows, that no matter how many feck ups in a row someone does at their job in wargaming they will still be able to simply keep the job and even get a raise maybe.
I mean, i thought they were to diffuse the situation not turn it into a shitephoon?

 

Its just one of the many little things over the past 2-3 years as to why i haven't bothered with this company from giving out detailed and thoughtout ideas, to simply defending them. And this being albeit another small example as to why.

 

Shame, because i still like the core gameplay of this game as whole, but cannot bring myself to play while they are STILL being this scummy.

 

Lets see what their stream will hold for us tommorrow.

Its mind boggling really, I just fail to understand how you can be so bad at your bloody job and no hate towards shonai as well, as im pretty sure hes being used as the sacrificial lamb lets be honest (I assume so anyways.)

We all know why they won't put Missouri in the armoury with this latest change. It's to stop people using their discount coupons. Technical issues my [edited].

 They're not bad at their job. They're just implementing the strategy.

 

However, it would be really nice if they'd just stop lying about it. Don't want to sell Missouri through the armoury because you want lootboxes to be the simple option? Just say so. At this point the opinion of people who give a crap can't be lower anyway. The only way to make it worse is by trying to stuff transparent lies through people's throat.

I'm not that sorry for them anymore tbh. This isn't a new thing. If your boss makes you sell this absolute garbage day in day out and you just go out there talking about "technical limitations" and "translation mistakes" for years, you've become part of the problem.

Of course. But what baffles me is how they keep squirming about trying to avoid just saying it.

 

It's really not that hard: "We've decided making the Missouri available through other means than the lootboxes (or whatever they call them) is undesirable, yet based on the situation that unfolded, we have decided to implement an alternative. However, the lootboxes remain the preferred and easiest way to acquire the ship". What's so hard? Why make a fool of yourselves?

The irony is that if they did make Missouri available in the armoury for doubloons (with coupon discount) WG might actually make more money as more people may be willing to buy it.

It's not like WG have to cover recent development costs - it is an old game asset.

Hence they're not going to lose money by selling it at a discounted price.
