That's the point: I enjoyed the game. Until the company Wargaming decided to make it unbearable to play for me with good concience. And I want them to know it and that their actions, or lack thereof, have consequences even with (former) casual players.

only problem is this forum is comprised of 0.1 of the players so they lost 10 dollars. it doesnt matter as long as 99% keep going what theyre doing and buying stuff

It matters to you personally, which is, like the CCs stated, the actual point.

I disagree. Many more players than you think are following these issues up. I have no doubt many will take appropriate measures.

News about this are spreading, this is not the usual "only us at the forums know what's up". crap officially hit the roof. Even casuals hear what's happening now. Even people that aren't players here are seeing news about the current debacle. We can argue that some casuals won't care and continue as usual, but there will also be a lot of cases like OP.

I think we need to ddos the eu servers to prevent the degradation of our youngsters.

I have the means to do it but not the capital since it costs alot of money!

I will be selling lootboxes with a chance to get pernament dickenlargements. All funds will go to maintaining my ddos servers.

Or they read it when they are greeted in battle chat with appropriate information.

gud idea actually, did with the NTC thing by sending out a message at start of each battle, had quite a few peeps get angry and probs helped with the meltdown, think the poll went way over 2k votes (highest i have ever seen in any thread really).

well i bought some crates some 2 years ago and its quite addictive, the feeling of opening them and getting something nice. Then i got flags and thankfully im a person who understands the BS and can control myself. But is addictive and some people sure keep buying. If it was like 10 euros for 10 premium crates would have been nice but premium crates cost a lot and the reward is mostly garbage.

Only around 25% of players actually buy anything according to WG themselves... and that number is hopefully decreasing.  :cap_like:

Well this former player will neither buy anything nor even play the game.

Nor me, i have a mountain of other games in my steam library and im not missing the frustration that was inevitable everytime i fired up WOWs over the past couple of years. My wallet is closed to WG even if i was still playing, and i was a self confessed whale.

This is the only game I play and been doing for the last 6 years. I really like it and helps me coping with stress and so on.

However I am willing to close my wallet. Did it before for a year so I can do it again.

If the Pegi rating increases that will hurt:

Past these few days I've mostly  played couple of Narais a day. During weekend I started a campaign in Shogun 2 Total War.

Picked up my unfinished model of V2 rocket (1/72) and finished that. Started building M109 artillery (1/72).

After that I really should finish my Z-39 (1/350) or Kaga (1/350).

I had some doubloons saved and used them on the Ze Seven province starter pack, so im forced to grind that out, but after that.... looooong break maybe.

Not really, average player was above 30 so it will affect a very small minority. I was letting my kid play this game ages ago and I didn't even care if it was 'suitable' according to PEGI since I played it myself and I deemed it suitable myself.

It might make players more aware of the monetization behind the game, and this awareness could help a bit but I really don't think a lot of people would notice if only the PEGI rating changed.

What would make more people aware is posting it on your social media, contacting your local politicians and ask them if a game marketed at children should contain gambling or sexually suggestive content ( Azur Lane is PEGI12 and WG reuses their assets without taking over their classification ). Basically, if this makes your local news, you're doing good. If it makes national news, we're doing great.

And that is besides what the OP is saying: everyone complaining but playing the game could just as well be telling WG to please continue with their behavior. I stopped playing quite some time ago and while the direct issue at the time was not submarines that has always been the most important moniker on which I hinge my trust in both the game development direction and the company itself.

point 1, if you are leaving the game doesnt it make sense that you wont buy anything from WG after that, would be interesting that you leave the game and then buy stuff, strange things..

WG is targeting short term players who come, spend a lot of money and then dont play anymore, people who play a lot dont even have to spend money.

My friend just started to play, he have to buy premium to actively play if he wants to progress, on the other hand I dont have to if I play clan battles, i can earn them in clan missions. So yeah wg doesnt profit from me, but from new not knowing players...

I never brough a crate and invested the money in either the stockmarket or a nice dinner for myself. Both are well worth it!

Premium is not required to progress. It just takes a bit more time, but are we not playing for fun
