So, not even 1 day into this post and we have almost 500 comments, and we can safely say zero positive ones.

Will WG actually react to this. I'm not holding my breath.

It's a shame really, it's the only game that has held my attention for the longest.

Ho hum, I suppose nothing lasts forever. :Smile_sad:

I've tried a few times to put my opinion on paper and each time my thoughts ended with "why do you bother, WG doesn't care anyway" and that's exactly what it will be. Therefore, just a few words.

This is a game and it's supposed to be fun, but since the Puerto Rico disaster, I've lost a lot of that and with each new event we're only moving further in the, in my opinion, wrong direction.

I don't go to a casino and I don't gamble, but here, in a game that I actually love, the manufacturer wants to force me to? No thanks!

I think I've been pretty generous over the years, but for some reason that does not seem to be enough.

In addition, after the drama over the last few years, I actually no longer believe WG anything ...

In short: It breaks my heart, but I'm done with this bs. Do what you want, but there will be nothing more from me.

Come on man @YabbaCoe...

Two days of "non-stop writing, talking and thinking"... This is the result... I mean, how can you even get yourself to post this...

@YabbaCoe dont you guys have this Admin Account where all Wargaming Employees have access too ... and you still choose to use your own Account. Is that now that you also dont give a damn about the Community and/or you made a mistake in using your own ... just saying that everyone who presents offically this Company has a stain on his Person that wont wash off. You are the Faces of this Company and not the Devs behind it or the CEO. Thats your stain what will stay on you even when u leave the Company ... congratulations to that!

You have to understand that the statement was not the only result of those 2 days.

The main discussion was about what to offer to the community as an olive branch. They decided on the Missouri thing. The rest is the usual crap (Huron is in production anyway already).

Now notice how cleverly the statement is worded:

Quote

We understand that there are several causes that have led us to this situation and that we have upset and disappointed many of our CCs and players. While some of these causes are self-explanatory, and our commitment to fix them remains

They DO NOT state any specifics. Not naming the causes, not even explaining WHAT commitment. They simply state that they are comited to something. On the surface it seems as if they want to actually change all the issues and remedy them. However, since no issues are specified, there is no commitment to anything in there.

That sentence is the corner stone of the whole statement. It's a hollow shell that appears to be pretty on the outside, but there's nothing in it. Not even hot air. Just plain vacuum ...

You can actually substitute this and it will make complete sense in the same way:

Quote

We understand that there are several causes (our greed and excessive monetization of the game, our lack of respect towards the CCs and ignorance of player feedback) that have led us to this situation and that we have upset and disappointed many of our CCs and players. While some of these causes are self-explanatory, and our commitment to fix them remains (we'll be a bit more subtle and offer some meaningless free stuff more often)

Or how about this:

Quote

We understand that there are several causes (overly entitled CCs and playerbase) that have led us to this situation and that we have upset and disappointed many of our CCs and players. While some of these causes are self-explanatory, and our commitment to fix them remains (we'll ignore them as we did so far)

You can craft similar statements about anything from that sentence.

Well, WG apologized and will drop the scamboxes, at least for Missouri. Not sure why so many are still crying but the word "spoiled" comes to mind. If WG would extend protective MM to the higher tiers so i wont end up with 45% WR players in Tier X battles, i would be so happy. If you boys and girls like crying so much, cry about the MM, WG seems to have a soft spot for tears and maybe they'll fix the elephant in the room.

You're wrong in my opinion, do you not pay attention to his clan tag it basically adds a Kappa to each post

It is not something you can decide that I am wrong about or not. You asked me if I missed the sarcasm and I said yes. Now you start about Kappa? What on earth is that?

They didn't mention dropping the boxes, only that there would be alternative ways to buy the ship

As If Wargaming would read any of your comments here. It would suggest that they care about your opinion and the community, which they definitely dont.

They will never learn from their mistakes and I'm sick of these half assed excuses/apologies. A wonder that they didnt blame it on "translation-errors".

Everyone has to know for himself whether he will continue to play this game or leave. For me, this is the end...

Bye bye sinking ship, it was fun while it lasted.

This is literally a PR school day 1 "sorry-not-sorry" template with some blanks filled in. I get that they needed time to communicate with higher peeps about the Missouri thing, but don't come with the BS that anyone actually put two days of hard work into this. It's pretty much exactly the thing everyone is fed up with. If you need extra time to figure out what minute bone you're gonna throw the community in the hopes to make them shut up, say something along those lines. Stop telling blatant lies. Nobody spent "two days of non-stop writing, talking and thinking" on this.

I'm really not expecting or demanding huge lists of changes, but come on, at the very least stop with the obvious nonsense and pointless transparent lies.

What did u all expect? A kneefall?  As stated by other posts only a very small margin of players know what  happend. The rest of the player dont know , and should they?

As long as wg comes away with it why shouldn't they?

So  all this writing here is good for own moral but it accomplisches nothing.

And for me pers (and am shure for most of my clan members, we je want to have a nice time playing the game.

Is it bugged? Yes .

Is mm in coop wrong? Yes.

Is wg do anything about ? No idea.

And this msg took me 3 sec to think of

Kr

Well yes but they also didnt, what they are offering is players can now grind for the privilege of give then 60€ for a ship that was available for free about 4 years ago. They really want to monetize Missouri and wont let go of that and it took then 2 days to reach this half-assed "olive branch".

"We are sorry, tell you guys want ... instead of spending up towards 200 euros on gambling for the ship we let you after spending 40 hours grinding for directives the option to spend only 60 euros for it, we cool now?"

And I checked Huron that is their pathetic attempt at making up for Yukon, she was a Tribal destroyer ... Haida is a Tribal destroyer so all they have to do is the usual fiddle with the stats, exchange the turrets and so and pesto, a Tier VIII DD ... "we are so sorry LWM, here ... you can have this historical Canadian ship we going to sell for 50 CAD".

Well the question was "What they did for 2 days?" Not if I am satisfied with the results :-)

ANOTHER WG WHAT A LOAD OF BS LIES.

WG have never addressed anything over the past couple of years and still you at WG say we are addressing these issues, Wake the ?-up smell the coffee you have no intentions to address anything as you would have done it by now, two plus years later nothing.

In the words of Alan sugar "YOU'RE FIRED".

Weakest, lamest middle-fingered non-apology WG has put out since...the last one.

Jingles summed it up perfectly - the CC's aren't representative of the game demographic that WG have or want. And by still playing and streaming the game, they are still advertising WG's game and giving them less 'hassle' by telling them the truth about the crappy changes and mistakes they keep making. So WG are just like 'Meh, go away. Turn the light off when you leave'.

All they care about are the Whales.  They'll throw in any gimmick at this point to keep the product 'fresh' and risk losing ground to their competitors.

I personally think the game is on a downward spiral and they are trying to rinse whoever's left until the cash flow runs out.

Youre not apologizing. you just state that you are sry about The CC´s leaving. No sry to the playerbase or the actual persons this evolved around. No sry or going back on your shity monetaziation tactics. Which is clearly a FOMO (fear of missing out) system. This game is open for ppl as young as 7 years old. And your promotign gambling in teh most agrressive ways. WG shame on you. In germany at least there is a state institute which i will go too and see what they are saying about that system and the age this game is meant to be played. I guees you knopw them good. ANd the best thing is your communication errors have made you so much money even if they were corrected in 36 hours. You made so mcuh money in that time that its called unlauterer wettbewerb in germany. Maybe you should check with them very soon. This is your typical community repair posts. But after 3 years This frorum wont forget. Youre alternative way fpr missouri is just a big Joke. Youre not saying that youre sry for what your actions got that game into. Why not sending a signal and kick workers of your company. At least the ppl which were named specificaly. And which most left CC`s were naming. If i see that most of the Members of your company arent online ieven in the forums for about 1 or 2 years. even i see where that shitstorm is coming from. Poor job WG
