Yeah, it's probably either a distraction for an excuse or they are actually hiring someone to better censor their streams.

If they say "miscommunication" again I hope they choke on it.

I am sure a good English teacher will try to expand their vocabulary with suitable synonyms. Also teach yoga to help them keep foot in mouth (you need to be really supple for that).

I best apply to that. Barney could 'enlighten' more of their employees.

They might experience several Miscommunications when i release them later.

And a free lootbox if they do gud.

Did you open the link? The job posting is in Minsk, Belarus. I'm sure plenty of applicants will want to live under 'Putin-lite' :etc_swear: Lukashenko. :etc_red_button:

"A career in our company is always an interesting challenge" You don't say lol, i wonder what challenges the poor sod will experience with this lol.

"As well as the experience that you gain working together with world-class experts." Ahh yes, the famous soviet navy that clapped every single blue water navy in 2123 during the battle of easter island.

I put myself forward as CEO of WoWS.

I will require all expenses paid (a generous $500 per diem for miscellaneous expenses, paid relocation & accommodation & a salary of $300,000 US per annum (& use of a vehicle & driver at corporate expense).

This position may take up to a year to correct the WoWS  corporate culture (& I understand Cyprus is a nice place to reside for persons of sufficient means, so a year sounds about right)

In exchange, I will terminate the employment of all senior WoWS management (not necessarily limited to senior levels as the rot at HQ is clearly pervasive) & interview & hire new employees.

I may even promote from within deserving  individuals (but only if I can determine that there are actually any there).

I'm also able & willing to begin immediately so there will be no delay in the 'house cleaning'.

Other way of saying "our players will spend unbelievable amounts for pixel boats and scamlootboxes".

Yeah people taking the mickey, but it's actually a good thing, and definitely important given the nature of the work and international reach of the products they develop.

It's nice to see as far as I'm concerned.

Better for everyone if this vacancy is promptly filled with a good teacher. Players included.

It's never been about communications. Sure, there are some hickups when people don't have a common language, but when a developer is genuinely interested in making a good game and actually care about their audience,  people just laugh the occasional funnies off together.

When every game design decision - as well as everything else - is intended to milking quick bucks from the playerbase and the health of the game or the said playerbase is measured in €/min, any communication has to be constructed in an absolutely masterful way just to keep the constant shipstorms remotely manageable. A gem you swallow and then eject is still of great value after a bit of a rinse, but no matter how much you try to polish a turd it takes one quick whiff to figure out what's actually going on.

Not so sure about Wargaming but most companies offer creative freedom to a certain extent...with Microsoft and Sony being the most flexible among them. I think it's hard not to find a studio that doesn't do that unless they're facing deadlines or enforcing mandatory crunch periods like when CDPR handled the Cyberbugs fiasco weeks before its disastrous launch.
