Everybody talking about the Missouri but I would really like to be able to get the old Kamikaze R or at least the perma "wave" camo, so cool.

Any ideas it that is on the roadmap or just a dream of mine?

I am one of those evil bastards that has Kamikaze R and Fujin. Nothing says ''haha, up yours'' like spamming six 72 knot torps every 40 seconds

Considering last Christmas WG said the Kami and Fujin wouldn’t appear in subsequent Christmas events my guess it won’t be any time soon. 

 

Still this is WG she will probably reappear but it will be a couple of years before then.

That said ... nothing is set in stone with WG. Now Missouri... next time WG need money .. Musashi, Kutuzov, Benham, old Belfast, and Kamikaze and her sisters.

I'm sure basic Kami (and maybe Fujin) will reappear at some point; WG are just too keen on money for it to be otherwise.

 

I'd be surprised if Kami R reappears though (mind you, I wasn't expecting Fujin either)...

With the way WG is going it's probably going to be available, like the MO, in some form of lottery with undefined chances of actually getting one.

 

I have the Kamikaze, Kamikaze R and Fujin in my collection.   I gained the Fujin in a santa box either last year or the previous year (at that point I had most of the premiums).

I have all 3 Kamikazes... And don't play them often. Kamikaze R I bought 5 years ago for about 10 euro I remember. Maybe I should play them more often again.

I will admit the Kami R is a lot fun it’s very much a one trick pony but always a great laugh for when your feeling sadistic.

I failed to realize how nasty & effective the Kamikaze R is (& that is my preferred DD play-style (the wall - o - torps) so I mistakenly did not get it.

As it is, when I see a Kami R on the enemy team I will do my best to delete it with extreme prejudice  (if it appears close enough to me, that is).

I don't have Kami clones, don't want them to come back to game either and i find it very selfish of people keep asking ships like kamis, benham, Missouri, Musashi, etc. cuz they're only after self-satisfaction rather than keeping the game less toxic.

Remember when Kamikaze used to essentially be a Premium Minekaze... Back then BBs couldn't afford to sail broadside in a straight line, Nowadays most BBs at tier 10 do this. Clearly you don't need to learn this skill anymore... I wonder why?

nah, it's more like playing 1.3k games in Mogami or 430 games in Myoko and still sucking in them or like having 1k overall exp,, or like not playing the game for more than a year but still coming to the forum to see what others wrote...

Why are ships toxic? 

Well, I understand that about Smolensk but even now is not that relevant.

The Wave camo is beautiful, that little ship is beautiful and plays great if you learn how to use it, is not like every Kami K is a beast.

for only 12k hp ship that's allot damage, this also shows how bad they dds was by not help they ship fleet

The trick is kill their DDs first and pray their CVs ignore you while you have fun, also don’t play like me it gets a bit suicidal:

Damn 276k with a t5 dd, 9 kills and still a defeat which shows the real gap between good players and general pop. GG.

Correct that old MInekaze was the reason i jumped from BB to DD a very good ship indeed. I have both Kami anf the Fuijn but i missed the kami R for my collection. And i am afraid it never comes back...
