Sooo... when I logged into the game today I was asked if would be ready to answer a questionaire about WG. It was supposed to take only a couple minutes... so I though, yeah, the f*ck yeah, lets tell them what I think about the game.. so I clicked the link and the first question came up:

How much are you inclined to recoomend WoWs to friends or co-workers (on a scale from 0 (worst) to 10 (best))

Well...

Considering that none of my friends or relative has or would have the slightest interest in a MMOG (due to age or no inclination to play any computer games) AND because I'm no longer a member of the workforce (meaning: no co-workers) AND because at the current state the game isn't really something I would recommend to ANYONE....

"Thanks for taking part og this questionaire"

No further questions came up. I felt a little bit... uhm... well, validated in my thought that this whole BS was only made to learn from the players new ways how to come up with a new pyramide trade scheme to to make more money...

I have heard of others having the same experience.

Can’t say I’m surprised though WG only wants positive feedback after all asking WHY we are not happy doesn’t fit with their spreadsheets.

Same for me. They just do not care about your feedback if you do not like the game.

This person gave a 0?  Into the shredder!

I have complained about this for months, others for longer.

WarGaming want their echo bubble; they value your feedback if it aligns with what they want to hear.

If not GTFO but your feedback matters, thanks for playing :cap_like:

there is logic behind this though.

then they can ask other questions to people who like the game, and then claim 70% approval by player survey.

seems they follow the advice to only trust statistics that they themselves made up.

even in Belarus, they gradually reduced approval levels. 95.8% from before was too obviously fake. Now they are at 70% and still call it "overwhelmingly positive".

It defaults to that answer no matter how you answer it.

it is. Why should they care that you rated it 0? You don't give them money anyway and they are happy with the state of their game. They don't need or want your suggestions in how to make a better game since they earn a good amount of money already.

The questions goal is literally for them to find out how you would spend more than they already get.

What about paying more attention on nonspenders asking why and what can be done to make them spend money instead of assuming that this category of players are just kids who needs mommy`s or dady`s credit card?

As someone said earlier, they are only interested for statistic numbers, not for reasons why positive or negative.

Question itself suggests that it is for marketing department.

They already have a system that works pretty well in getting the casual spender to spend quite effectively.

To answer the initial statement:

Not all surveys have the same amount of questions. There are ones that have multiple pages and free text fields, like the CV surveys. And others simply consist of one question. This is most likely what you got. Just by giving a 0/10 no survey is cut short. Simply because every vote is interesting for a statistic. Even completely negative ones. If WG would only allow 10/10's they would not get the data they're interested in. There is no conspiracy against you.

It is not a questionaire, you just entered the odds of getting a rare ship in your next supercontainer (and all subsequent ones for that matter):cap_haloween:

Yeah, the "standard" survey (if one is inclined to call it such) that regularly comes up after a battle is one of these one sentence "surveys" - how satisfied are you with that last battle - and especially shows that WG is NOT interested in the WHY one answered "I'm effing unhappy".

From personal experience - as once it was part of my job - I guess this helps in adjusting statistics (like by deciding which time span of the survey to chose, to get the wanted/needed result).

And of course I didn't think of it as a conspirancy against me. It's just a(nother) utterly useless survey...

is this fact or your opinion?

Also if people are pressing towards the neg field... to think of it, why would WGing not add a text field to it, would this not be the best way to get what WGing customers are thinking?

0 could be for a lot of reasons, the text field or even followed up with a multible bullet and a text field asking a reson?

Also the amount WGing are pushing there invite a friend, you think they could get there data/answer from how much that is used?
