What's the funniest cheating accusation you've had?

Anecdote time! Share the best cheating accusations towards you for regular or uncommon situations (without naming and breaking rules).

 

 

 

Came across a Chung Mu in Ranked at a cap zone and started firing. Brought him down to under a thousand in a very heated exchange (I took 50% damage) when he disappears behind an island, on fire. I send some blind shells after him, starting another fire. Hadn't really kept track of it, but he must have repaired early on when his engine broke at the start of the engagement. He died of fires and I was quite surprised and happy with the result. Then it came!

 

What follows was basically (more polite and better spelled than he formulated it):

"Hacker! Reported!"

"Sorry, what?"
"You can't start three fires in one salvo!" (Technically you can with four hits, but I didn't do so, was several seconds in between the fires starting...)

"Uhm, one salvo? My Friesland has 1.7s reload." (I don't even have adrenaline rush on it)

"Reporting you! Friesland does not have a 1.7s reload. Nothing fires that fast and nothing can set so many fires at once. You cheat."

 

People giggled. :) Some wanted to hurry and buy a Friesland.

I was in a BB tier IV and someone on a DD torped me so close that the torpedoes did not activate. Then he started the alternative attack with the common rant despite I told him it was a game feature that at some distance the torps activate, that if he did not liked it he could message the developers. Well, deaf ears and I got reported.

Had a full hp Ostergotland who was shooting me in my Lenin (was at 3K hp) for 2 min straight in ranked. He only shaved off 2K before I eventually ended him. He messaged me and called hacks right after.

 

Not my fault he can't shoot for crap lmao.

Nothing fancy here, last year I was playing Fiji during T7 ranked season, enemy Blyska smoked up about 7 km away from me, he was low HP so I used RPF and his smoke screen border spread to blindfire him. I killed him ofc, and then he called me hacker and said he would send WG the replay asking for my ban. I warmly encouraged him to go on and do it. More than a year passed, nothing at the horizon for now. Guess I'll keep waiting 🤔

hitting DDs with shoukaku torps, I was called out for using aimbot

A smolensk smoked up at around 17km distance behind an island. 

 

Thanks to the spotter plane I could fire behind that island with my Yamato. Fired a full broadside at the lights of his guns. Got some citadel hits and normal pens, he died in an instant. 

 

Complained in chat that I cheat because it is impossible to land that much hits at once. Guess that was my most lucky shot ever in this game and the most satisfying one. 

 

Also got lots of upvotes after the game.

don't remember the exact details from what it started but at some point the other dude said - I'm paying customer of wg and they actually hear what he has to say and so I should be careful with my expressions when talking with him

In Fubuki end battle vs 2 BB:s dropped torps on them without locking on and just used "guess" prediction, one guy went totally mental and was gonna report me etc..

Bumped into an Asashio in my Mogomi he launched all his torps into me but being an Asashio they did nothing. Apparently I was using “an invulnerable hack”.

 

I wish I had the presence of mind to make a screenshot.

Had that several times, in DD's and in cruisers. Always a good laugh.

Reminds me of this Supertester in his Fenyang who launched all of his torps at an enemy DD in a brawl and got annihilated in return... sure thing WG employs testers of all skill levels!

Red player goes mental accuses me of hacks and cheats and makes indecent proposals about my mom, who is probably 70 years older than him

Was accused of being a full time, committed and dedicated cheap weeb star, when I successfully rushed a CV in my Kagero, when I was top tier

i was in graf spee enemy London popped smoke around 8 km in front of me,while putting his smoke he didnt stop so his smoke was behind him and he was visible, givig me full broadside.

turned my guns, all citadels,he died.

Enemy Sims poped Smoke after missing his Torps. 

I sailed close to his Smoke without firing and spotted him with my Dallas Hydro at around 4  Km.

He was sitting in his smoke and was totally surprised that he was spottet but he could not see me.

I unloaded all my Guns 2 Times and he was sunk.

 

Grand Battles with an enemy Stalingrad  at around 15 Km showing full Broadside the entire Time.

I send 4 full Salvos in his direction and 3 Times I got a Citadell and he end up sinking.

He could not belive that a Shikishima is that acurate or has that much pen that you can get through the Broadside Armor of a Stalingrad

I have been accused of cheating for Ghost firing  in smoke killing both DDs and Cruisers. I have been accused cheating for hitting a single torp on two different battleships causing a detonation while in the Halland. I have been accused of cheating while playing the Kronstadht and getting 10 citadels in it 4 of which were on a Montana at 15km. In short Any time I have done something that requires some level of skill and a ton of luck I have gotten accused of cheating.

Got called a cheater by a player for "playing the OP class CV and for hiding" while I was actually charging their line with my Graf Zeppelin because the game was lost and all my teammates were dead. My secondaries went brrr I had fun and the guy got called out for complaining about OP stuff while playing his Jean Bart xD

Please buff Graf Zeppelin WG !!!!!!

Shikishima has significantly less pen than Yamato
