Napoli seems pretty bad!!! @The_EURL_Guy

Short main gun range, no self-defense consumables (meeting aka Halland torps etc), main gun reload is long.........
I struggle to get 135k with range with soft rudder modification and still a loss...

This ship is not worth getting!

In order for Napoli to be good, the buff needed is:

• Add Hydroacoustic Search  (5.0 km with 3.5 km) or Speed Boost (+0.25 %)
• Main battery range increased to 17,5 km.
• Secondary accuracy increased by 20% and increase the range by 2,0 km.

The secondaries are bad, the bad accuracy isnt even worth it.... 950 shells fired and 117 did hit with full secondary build...

114 Euro for a Tier 10 pixel ship and this is just for one ship without any significant bonuses, and 156 Euro for a bundle.....

 

Well, it would not be enough to tell you how many triple A games you can get for this price for an example, but here in Sweden with that price i could possibly buy a cheap phone or maybe a brand new PC screen,  at least 4 large fans to cool me down, or new pair of quality headphone? Yeah, for that price i could buy something more useful that can be physically touched and actually affecting me in real life !

 

Ofc more tier 10 ships will be put for sell from now on.

And if  Tier 9 is not enough, Here have a ship at the maximum tier so you can buy your way into top tier without of learning how the game works and ruin the the game for everyone else who has been grinded for months into top tier because they don't understand how much the game evolved the higher tier they play, so they will end up playing like a useless bot that die within 2 minutes. 

I've played enough WT to see where this is going, letting unexperienced players getting their hands on  high tier vehicles through their pockets and destroy the gameplay expeirence for everyone.

other games try to canalize playerskill by levelsystem. which in here is the tiersystem. by making it easier to rush tiers by bloat economy, which is tailored to push inexperienced players onto higher tiers quickly so they rather feel urge to spend bucks coz of unsufficiant performance, and by the option to buy into higher tiers from the get go (yet "only" t9's, to from now on t10), any sense was kinda taken out of the tiersystem!

 

indeed they could make a t1-10 mm and the gameplay quality, driven by playerskill on ships they play, might even wouldn't change at all rofl....

 

"we never said that", blablabla.... it's called norms and regimes. it got set up, it evolved. it got framed, shaped and "communicated" (lol), certain impressions were modelled by intention. with, ofc, all the backdoors in they now exploit.

i dont play any italian ship .. i was thinking buying this ship ... but hydro is an essential thing for cruiser ... without it i dont think i will take napoli at the moment ...

A nice ship. and I would have bought her but after Hyuga  got Nerfed straight away I'm very uncomfortable paying £98 gbp to WG, and before the resident Shill starts preaching that other games do it, I'm not playing those I'm playing this one. So Wargaming, How about a Grace Period where I get to keep what I buy for a set period without inept attempts at balancing after it's released, Because TBH I'm No Way paying You such a large sum of money to test Your Ships. Premiums have been changed before once or twice even for the better and I can live with that but The Nerf Bat Warning Stinks of Laziness Total and Utter Laziness.

It's a coal ship, being sold at a price that is around the same as all the other T10 coal ships.

If some uberwhale wants to shell out 100 Euros to get a pixel ship straight away, or 1000 Euros for that matter, more power to them.

AFAIK, we always had in plans to release Napoli for coal. I don't know, where you saw that it comes only for doubloons, but probably somebody datamined the placeholder price on her, which is in doubloons. As ship models are added to the game with the release of the update, there is basically a need to have placeholder price, even though it is hidden. But we didn't announce in advance, how exactly will be Napoli distributed - I think you only saw discussions about the expectation of her price.

I am not sure, how long will napoli be in doubloon sale, but I don't think it will be forever. Also as she is now for doubloons in Featured part, you can't use a coupon on that, unfortunately.

I am not sure, how long will napoli be in doubloon sale, but I don't think it will be forever. Also as she is now for doubloons in Featured part, you can't use a coupon on that, unfortunately.

my apologies! i simply did confuse missi re-release with napoli here, as for missi it been stated it will get released for dubs. my very own mistake, think i did put up quite some rants on my own stupidity in the end so to say.

These days it looks like WG has less and less people to argue with.  

Same shady tactics, just less people willing to point out the shadiness as they have moved on.

 

Nothing changes, another day and another WG 100+ Euro pixel boat thats subject to change.

WG motto: Create a problem and sell the solution.  Remember when Bismarck was secondary king at T8?  Well we can't have a tech tree ship outshining our premium T8's.  So they buffed Tirpitz secondaries and added Massachusetts for sale with, if I remember correctly, very accurate secondary guns.

Bismarck is still strong on tier VIII and basically, her playstyle hasn't changed. It probably feels a bit underperforming now, comparing to how it was before, but it is because we added plenty of new lines and the addition of a new line always has an influence on other ships too.

You are correct, that Commander skills rework had quite a big influence on Bismarck. But her base range of secondaries was buffed and even with priority target secondaries shoot both ways. 

So let's say, she is not the same exactly, but she is still ok.

It matters not if the Bismarck fires out to 20km nor if it fires from both sides front back top and bottom   " if it hits 45% less" 

 

I'm a free to play player it took me 1 year to get the pomm it took 1 year to train a good captain ...(secondary) ....it took hundreds of battles for me to understand how to play this style only for it to be removed from the game

And she is still OK, her average performance is still decent... not very strong, but also not very weak.
