TLDR: There was a special Camo for Atago with 2 color options. They removed one of them (the LSD-Trip one - I liked it) "because it was a bug". 

That Camo is about 3 Years old.

what else is new ... ive always said that buying perma camo is big risk - they will change the smthg that makes it worthless and they wont compensate anything

I got the camo for a premium ship only because of the looks! 

The stats the camo provides are the same as the standard camo. 

So the camo was only for the looks. 

 

Why would they remove that option anyways? Makes no sense....

I bought several perma camos until the Moskva thing.

If WG don't value the product they sell you, you should not buy it.

Same here. Moskva gate was the final nail in the coffin. 

Kept my wallet closed since then.

I still spent on other things such as ships, economic flags and satan crates until April.

 

Having spent so much on this game I have now spent nothing in nearly 3 months.

I got a ton of dubs out of the anniversary S-Containers and from ranked. So far I bought all Dockyard ships (not P2R ofc) and Indomitable without spending a cent.

Ignore any talk of the grey version of the camo being a "bug". The grey camo scheme that is now missing was in the official advertising material for the camo (See WG's own news articles). Truth is that this is a low priority issue for them, despite the fact people may have specifically paid for this camo scheme. Thankfully in my case the one that remains is the one I like (the tutifruity coloured one), but many of my clan mates preferred the other one, as did much of the community it seems.

Hello. As far as I know, the second scheme of "Special" Atago camo was temporarily removed because of the bug on that particular scheme. 

I will bump the question on what is the status about the fix of this second scheme of Atago "Special" camo (honestly I was using that removed one, too)

So I received an information, that the second scheme of this Special camo should be returned to the game. Currently I don't have exact ETA for this, but I will let you know, once I will know more (If I won't forget)

It's just the usual issue of the technical support staff having no idea of what they should be saying.  Apparently the dev team are aware and looking to resolve the issue.

Apologies if you already did it, but you might also want to inform Customer Support, as apparently they have absolutely no clue about what the rest of the company is doing

That's good news @YabbaCoe But why did the support say something completely different?

 

Their answer caused a lot of drama that would not have been caused if they checked first.

 

After the Yukon incident, I did hope WG would improve their internal communications as they promised.

lets face it that happens quite often with any first-line support desk the world over. Ive literally had a first-line team in my job tell me that's not how something works and they refer to the documentation/procedure.   Then I point out I'm the author of the document/procedure there referring too and they are reading it wrong

u may ask as well for the reason why flint and blacks permas (the one they come with) not can be inverted colorwise? this bugs me for aaaaaaaages........ thx.

Ive had almost the same.. ive had a purchasing team buy some software licenses. then ask IT (me) to review it. when I pointed out it was not fit for purpose they were not happy..

 

Or sales team selling  a client a hardware service that we could not even buy the hardware for the price they quoted let alone build and support
