Missouri only available in 0.10.7 or not?

Hi guys, will she stay in the armory after update 0.10.7 so we can apply the coupon? @MrConway

Knowing WG it will be one of the ships where you can't apply the coupon.

 

Got to squeeze out every penny you can.

Just be aware that WG are playing on name recognition with this one.

Like Belfast '43, this will be a ship that people will buy thinking it's very good only to find out otherwise.

 

It probably still will be the best doubloon ship though.

Don't know. For me the best doubloon ship was and still is, Massa.

I meant available doubloons ships.

 

Otherwise you have Georgia, Jean Bart and Musashi which are better than Missouri

 

Massa is still one of the best T8 battleships!

She is out but knowing weegee they will send her back.

If they did this with Missouri I don't see why not with one of the most popular doubloon ships in game.

Nah, for me Missouri is still the best in tier 9, especially from those four.

Georgia: speed, accuracy, secondaries and fast reload heal.

 

Jean Bart: speed boost, reload booster and better citadel protection.

 

Musashi: hit points, overmatch, this ship is just overpowered.

 

Apart from radar, the Missouri is just an Iowa with a worse heal and Iowa is not great!

So the question is how useful is radar in a battleship. As a solo player I find it to be more of a defensive weapon. Those who play in division will get much better use out of it I am sure.

I never really liked Iowa, so I never got Missouri.

 

As for Musashi, there is one very significant weakness (at least for me). Turret rotation.

It prevents me from taking central position...

Everybody has their favourites and all that, but Iowa is a very good ship.

I play Missouri as a solo player and I can tell you radar is a fantastic tool (It is also a bad game design, but that's another discusion)

 

This was my Missouri's game yesterday:

See that Z-23 at the bottom of the red team? I killed her. Well, I actually didn't get to shoot her once because there was a huge island between us. Our Kita sunk her from her smoke whilst I radared the poor dab. No damage taken.

Also, the two red Yugumos along with the Repu, Richelieu and Henri were rolling our other flank and were about to caught our CV, so I moved into position and the Yugumos turned back (this might not work against good players, but, well)

 

Neither of these can be achieved with an Iowa or a JB or a Georgia or a Musashi, all of whom are good ships in their own right.

Low amount of guns is a big downside for me. Secondaries are still useless atm.

Iowa is a great BB. Nice stealth, manoeuverable good guns and layout.

Even as a solo player radar can be an offensive weapon.

 

Claiming missouri is the worst is just wrong.

that's a rather skewed statistics. Missouri was the T9 first premium to be cut from the game. Far earlier than JB and the others. So those having Missouri are the more seasoned people (excluding lottery winners) so it should have better stats.

The first one is from last 7 days.

And playing longer / more games does not equal being better.

WG does Jedi mind trick "This is not the Missouri you are looking for....." , will not have the same credit earning buff (existing users get an additional perpetual mission to keep theirs)

yeah , and if you not care about radar then it same class like iowa XD, basically garbage, unless if WG gives you guarantee win with all unigum players in one team
