This is basically every time on Public Test, that instead of the ship there is a placeholder coal, to test if everything is set right.

It was an interesting day, yesterday 26-07-2021, when I actually colud access the PT.

Today, when I tried to continue, I am being refused access.

I have tried to find information about possible server issues or some kind of ongoing updatess, but everything indicates PT should be available @2200 CET.

Whether this is a bug or not, I can't tell, and Forum manager may remove or relocate this comment if necessary, Though; I'd like to be informed.

Thanks, would have been good to have seen that before the test ended (my fault, but could that info be added to the launch screen of the test server?)

First round of 0.10.7 PT ended as usual on Tuesday in the morning. 

Basically all PTs start one week after arrival of previous update to live server and it is always on Thursday at 18:30 and first round finish on Tuesday in the morning.

During the same week, when first round ends, the second round starts, again from Thursday 18:30 to Tuesday morning.

Unfortunately I don't think it is possible to place that to launch screen, mostly because we have the load of stuff there to test. But maybe I can try to suggest that for future, just to be clear.

Anyway, on second round you can try that again.

PT - Part 2:

 

- send torps in sub

- send and hit ping

- torpedoes start to curve, but in the opposite direction (e.g. 30° left instead of 30° right where the target is)

constant hard crash to desktop , resulting in pc needing rebooted to fix what seems a graphics driver issue (running latest drivers).

no problems with standard client

Game still unplayable for me, FPS 4-6 then crashes ? . Normal Client runs fine. I cannot give you any other feedback as the game crashes before I interact with other ships.

Trochę błędów grafiki, nie dopracowane wizerunki okrętów, ale już gra się świetnie okrętami podwodnymi i ważne, by było uzupełnienie, o to co jest we wszystkich flotach na świecie, czyli, żeby wszędzie były też okręty podwodne.

Just tried again, same issue 4fps. I cannot test your changes with the PTS server behaving like this!!!!.

Roughly translated from polish to english @YabbaCoe: Some graphics errors, poor images of ships, but it is already great to play with submarines and it is important to supplement what is in all fleets in the world, i.e. that there are also submarines everywhere.

i deleted public test , re-installed test . seems to have fixed the issues

Graphics problem is making this public test unplayable:

 

Game 1 - started at 21 fps then dropped to 15 fps

 

Game 2 - started at 9 fps dropped to 3 fps and then went up to 21

 

Game 3 - started at 5 fps then dropped to 1 fps at which point I switched to a different window to avoid being sick. 

 

Game 4 - started at 17 fps then went up to 20 fps

 

The main screen is very jerky - the Dutch port has a sail boat in the background which moves in fist & starts.

 

I have no problem on the live server getting 60+fps in every game. Playing on a desktop PC with and Nvidia graphics card.

Maybe not a bug, but may be an issue.

WOWS does not seem to recognize  the keyboard in the languages settings active when installing or starting  WOWS PT instance .  With update of the PT instance ( 0.10.07 before first round PT ) I had to go to settings and change the keys around ( Z vs Y) to fit the default  keyboard I use. Full disclosure I have 3 languages and 2 keyboards QWERTY (US-EN) and QWERTZ (DE) with Windows system languages EN, NL, DE   configured and freely swap around. Default is EN with QWERTZ keyboard as in English for Netherlands (English interface language, with European currencies and decimals, Dutch date format) , with a German keyboard.

Well, the bindings are set for the key. I always have the same issues, when I am streaming after one of my colleagues, as in Czech have have QWERTZ.

I woudl suggest you to just change the bindings for consumables.

Sorry, I'm already off on my summer vacation.

 

But I've seen it multiple times. The torps turn out - but turn in again after, as if they try to hit the target from a 90° angle instead of frontal. Maybe not a bug but a feature? :cap_hmm:
