This is exactly their tactics. Nerf something to the ground on the basis that it's breaking  their game in some way.

Then after some shouts by players they raised the offer to 20%. Then people are happier. Then they shout some more. Then they raise it to 30%. Now people are pretty happy, meh!

People shouldn't have accepted this at all in the first place. I am lately so triggered by shady sh1t that WG does and implements in this game that I'm completely furious about letting them off anymore. Even the fact that you buy ships with resources (i.e. coal. FXP, etc) without even being allowed to TEST the bloody ship before you commit to buying it! The stats don't tell the whole story, as there is so much more to these ships than they advertise! i.e. torpedo angles, gun turret angles, gun accuracy and sigma, etc, etc, etc

By way of protesting, our means are limited to a) raising a shitstorm in public, b) closing our wallets, or c) dropping the game (and forgo time/money we've invested in it).

I'm more willing to make use of options a) and b) than c), at least as long as the game remains somewhat playable. In my opinion, at least as far as I'm concerned, the game is now borderline unplayable for me. I'm certainly not getting full value out of it as things stand.

Absolutely. We need to keep on raising our voices and close our wallets until they listen. That's what I'm doing. The only thing which I may pay is premium time, at most.

We know for a fact that option a) works. Option b) would work even better but most people won't do it because they've invested too much into this game anyway. Let's make a) it count at least.
