How are combat flag and camo credit bonuses calculated in 0.10.7?

examples

old

(battle performance) + (battle performance x combat flag multiplier) + (battle performance x camo multiplier)

new

"A" ((battle performance) + (battle performance x combat flag multiplier) + (battle performance x camo multiplier) + (battle performance x perma mission)

or

"B" ((battle performance) + (battle performance x perma mission) + ((battle performance + (battle performance x perma mission)) x combat flag multiplier) + ((battle performance + (battle performance x perma mission)) x camo multiplier)

"A" would be a nerf whereas "B" would be the same as before.

Only if it would work like this:

[ship credits + (ship credits x camo) + (ship credits x signal)] x mission

But I believe it usually works like this:

ship credits + (ship credits x camo) + (ship credits x signal) + (ship credits x mission)

@MrConway @Crysantos @YabbaCoe Can you please check up on the calculation that will be used?

The mission gives a percentage bonus to base credits earned, what you can see in Credits and XP tab in post battle report. There you also can see the modifiers. So for example when you have Scylla signal, which gives you +25%, it calculates those 25% separately from that base credit earnings. So this mission should give you fixed bonus of certain number of percentage of credits.

So from your options, it should be (ship credits x camo) + (ship credits x signal) + (ship credits x mission)

Some battleships can call anti-submarine defense aircraft. You can choose that armament type by pressing 4. The camera rises and the reticle allows you to select an area within a 10 km radius from the ship. Aircraft will arrive and drop depth charges in this area shortly after selecting it.

How long is "Shortly"?

A tad

A bit

or is it one of the Great Wargaming Secrets, such as the odds of winning a prize in a loot crate?

So from your options, it should be (ship credits x camo) + (ship credits x signal) + (ship credits x mission)

So this means that the income will go down, even if it is only slightly. Because before 10.7, Missouri would earn credits according to the formula: ship credits with built-in modifier + (ship credits with built-in modifier x camo) + (ship credits with built-in modifier x signal). If the modifier is applied at base, that modifier counts towards all other stuff like camo and signals as well, effectively reducing the credit income by taking the modifier out of base and inserting it as a combat mission on top of the new base. Unless that combat mission modifier is stupidly high... I'm skeptical about this change.

Oh, sorry. My bad. You are right, it was 750.000 Free Exp.

But this don't change the fact, that I'm ready to pay 1.000.000 Free Exp for her, I can even double the original price and pay 1.500.000 Free Exp.

Well, Missouri will be a Premium ship not a Freemium as she was before. Will be sold for Doubloons and cash only I'm afraid. The best ppl can do (if they adamant buying her) wait for the 30% coupon which released once a year for everyone upon the joining anniversary...

For FXP or Coal, yes ... doubloons, no because this is obviously FOMO considering you cannot apply a coupon as she will be a "offer" (AKA full price, no discounts) trying to sucker in the people that will buy based on word of mouth about something that just got nerfed as the ship will only be available for a limited time.

This resulted in some Captains playing flag_USA_dd9fc06d19a8638f4077ab2fe200d22 premium_1d0cabf1997104fd727039ab9c098192IX Missouri more often than they planned.

Uhm so it suggest that Missouri is played by accident by some Captains? How does that work?

me_in_chat (mighty mo): Ohnoes my mouse slipped when selecting a ship and unknowingly I pressed the battle button, sorry team my mistake.

Or does it mean to say that if, for instance, I haven't "planned" playing Mo a week in advance, then it does get counted as planned /s.

I think i'll start keeping an offline agenda.

When you need credits and you have Mo, you play her for its income, thus planned.

When you are a solid BB player and have her or MO player in particular, you plan to play her because you know that on avg you'll do well in it, o and there's the credits income as a bonus.

Come to think of it, I think that most Captain have "planned" nearly all their battles, because of (re)grinding, solid pick for the circumstance (example: ranked), fun, memes, change of pace/challenge or whatever the reason.

More often than they planned, nice spin.

@Amaha Mo was 750K fXP + 1 credit back in the days

Some. And that's the thing. Some won't buy an many WILL buy! WG don't care about "some" ppl they care about the newbies willing to play and pay.(!) And there's a lot of ppl out there wanting Mo, willing to pay cash&doubloons for her regardless what actions taken with her. Also, not everyone buying ships in this game based on credit, xp or whatever profitability, they buying names! Historic names. Just look at Belfast, how ppl badly wanted (what actually happened is a diff story). But is Belfast (VII) still as she was before? Off course not, she is quite power crept. But still ppl was willing to pay 50-100 quid for her. not long ago!   So lets not underestimate ppl desires for a pixel ship :)

And earning FXP back in those days was much harder than today. It wouldn't come back for free xp or free in game resources. Cuz WG wants to make money out of the most demanded ships, why would they give it away for free?

WG Logic: "You want Belfast? Here take Belfast '43, buy it. Not the same but we named it Belfast, so buy it. Here Missouri buy it. Nerfed? Well it is still Missouri not same but who cares? Didn't you want a ship named Missouri?Just spend the money pls."

Maybe you should check the armory for the answer.

Pretty much everything in the Steel, Coal and RB sections ... those are for "free".

I already said my piece, for resources maybe but money only, no.

The fact Missouri is a Tier 9 ship that was previously only available for FXP, all tier 9 ships are available for resources.

They do indireclty money by offering Free-Exp ships. Also Free-Exp ships become more expensive.

How they earn money by free-Exp ships?
1. Some people might buy singal flags or premium time to gather more FExp for getting those ships

2. People, who are busy with playing this game for getting certain stuff are also more likely to buy other stuff for money. They are more invovled in the game, more bound to the game and more open to spend money

Okay but how this relevant to Missouri is being sold for doubloons only now?

Missouri was available for fxp 5 years ago, then it was removed and now is brought back for cash/doubloons.

Are you trying to say, the ships available for resources now could be removed and brought back years later fro cash as well? If that's what you are trying to say, yes, it may happen.

True but it is indirectly meaning not same as selling a ship for doubloon or cash which is directly. All the ships in the armory sold for in game currencies carry the same indirect money logic. That's what WG expects players to do, spend money but who knows how many really pay money to coal, fxp or RB ships.

It already did, Jean Bart Black.

But that wasnt the point, Tier IX ships are available as well for resources and some only with resources, I already said what my problems with this is.
