After the great sucess with CV rework, their spread sheet clearly says airplanes is what player want in a naval game. Would you like to buy some new stronk soviet CVs, comrade? Highlighting the "Problem" was just used as click bait on youtube. I would suspect, in real life, firing torps while applying rudder, would have a similar effect.
