whats the point even when battleships have smoke now?

While it is not the best gimmick for a BB, it is a balancing issue.

Do you think Kremlin needs smoke?

yes that's basically it.

It means you can be fairly aggressive  and still get out when needed as long as you time it right.

So... you want CV with smoke?

This could be the RU CVs gimmick.

A ITA style smokescreen, but 3mins dispersion time, 30 sec cooldown and impervious to radar - because russian.

I expect them to get a superheal.

After all, history shows RU CV are under permanent repair.

Unless somebody radars and then you cannot see anything but you are a free target. It was always a stupid noobtrap and should have never entered live server.

Regardless of the reality all naval warships that were not subs could deploy a smoke screen when needed. Wg uses smoke as a means of balancing and as a way for a dd to not do its most important role. SPOT. Most Dds should have something more akin to the UK smoke screens and not the giant fog bank making ones like the USN.

wrong
There are many uses for this smoke

Its for making bold plays, pushing in, giving yourself a breather, and for consumable usage.

Here is a proper guide on how to use the smoke (let your bias in for jus one video, coz even I thought that smoke on these ships were useless, until I actually tried them the way he has presented)

Only the smoke from Stalin's favorite cigarette.

that's fine, IF one knows how to use it... all others will smoke up and blaze away.... at least most i meet on ita bb's ^^... combined with a big bloom and rather low mb range, well..... know how to use it gives it benefits, not knowing: it's a trap!

The fuel-smoke on the Italian BBs is more useful against CVs than the AA on any other BB.

Most CV players will actually fail or not even attempt to drop you in your smoke, unless you are a sitting duck when using it.

And unlike AA, that smoke can even be used to disengage from focus-fire or to get into an aggressive position.

Overall a quite useful tool, just not for damage farming.

CV hull with smoke is too mainstream, squadrons with smoke/chaff/whatever to prevent being fired upon by AA is where you at:cap_look:
