I mean, am I surprised how you effed over LWM (and Chobittsu)? Nope. What's the saying? "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I really don't think you can fool me anymore, WG. It's however surprising how you always manage to do even worse than previously and you always find a new low.

Kinda off topic, but why would you collect fantasy ships? I totally understand desire to get every real ship in the game. Getting the tech tree Monarch is also somewhat reasonable if it actually was a preliminary design for KGV as game wiki says. But an imaginary battleship for a navy that never had any battleships?

As long as it is free I take every premium-ship. Some speculated that Yukon would replace Nelson and be available for free xp, which I have some laying around. So I would have taken it, even as a non-historic one.

 

But this thing for money? Nope. Also meanwhile I even skipped Tone which I was very eager to get for years. The game has taken a direction which I don´t want to support.

So you vetoed a ship with new assets as that would take too long, then take 16 months to butcher a Monarch clone, and then have to do a post-mortem to go into how it all went so badly wrong.

 

And after all that all you end up with is a ship noone buys, a pair of p'd off community contributors and still lacking a ship that is even vaguely plausible for Canada. /Slow clap.

The way WG have treated Little White Mouse (and her fellow contributor who's name I don't know- sorry) after all she has done unpaid for the game is just downright shameful.

The Canadian naval ensign was the British white ensign until 1965, thats why Commonwealth ships all have the option to fly the British white ensign.

 

Not sure what flag Mysore have as a option since when she was acquired by the Indian Navy had already changed their ensign with the Indian Tricolor replacing the Union Jack, its almost as their current ensign that includes the emblem of India in the intersection of Saint George Cross with the national motto written in Sanskrit under the emblem.

1. Yeah, that I know, the same ensign is on the Perth, as en example. What suprises me is that the commonwealth flag is not the standard flag on the Yukon, the Mysore, Perth and Vampire all had the commonwealth flags as their standard. Yukon was an exception, which is why I got curious about it.

 

2. Yeah, Mysore has the Indian tricolour in the canton, which, as a half-Indian, is rather nice.

As usual with every single ship: If you like the parameters, visuals or maybe the nation of this ship, it is up to you, if you decide to purchase this ship, or not.

As with every ship: Determine if WG shafted anyone with it, and decide wether or not you like that they shafted their CCs, it is up to you if you like or dislike WGs behaviour and if you support it or not by buying the ship.

In my case, if it was *only* the factors you mention, I would have bought this thing on Day 1.

 

Unusually with this ship, some well-liked members of the WOWS community appear to have been treated very shabbily by WG during its development; that makes giving the company any money for it profoundly unattractive...

As much as I like to have a laugh at their cost for saying dumb things, this $hit sandwich is not of their making. It sucks they have to eat it and grin.

It's the St. Petersburg office that treated LWM and Chobbitsu badly, not Yabbacoe or Crysantos.

 

While I'm of the opinion that Yukon is an affront to both CCs involved and the player base, I'd rather not see others go after people who are effectively bystanders.

 

PS: Don't buy the Yukon, you will get conned.

List all uninspiring premiums from tiers V-VIII which hit the game this year. Now mark my words that 2021 Scam Santa Crates will have true harvest of such ships  by accident of course 

 

Commonwealth of Nations had so many interesting ships but this ship really looks like was made only for Scam Santa Crates.

 

After reading story of how WG treated LWM I just lack words.

Wait... So WG was even too cheap to gift the actual ship to the CC that spent 16 months working on it? And as "compensation", they were allowed to make a camouflage (uncredited). BARF!!!!!

I stopped spending on the game after the Xmas crate rip off, whale no more, i will never spend on this game or any future title WG create in the future. Anyone who care to asks about the game i try to dissuade and educate them on what a terrible company wg are. A big change from my early years when i couldn't praise them enough.

But as long as the money rolls in they will just keep doing the same if not even worse things. Stop spending, is the only way wg would even attempt to change their dubious ways.

What reasons did Noone give for buying this ship? She doesn't look very appealing.
