Sorry but this is a hard pass, you had the opportunity to make an interesting premium ship but of course not as you guys did your own thing. Also  after reading LWM’s review it does not reflect well on you WG.

From the techtree, it seems like the Yukon only has the British flag? Did wargaming even give it the commonwealth and canadian flags that it could swap to? Like the Haida or other commonwealth ships?

 

Also, Y'all gave the Yukon the maple leaf camo, give an Indian variant of a national camo to the Mysore please!!!

For anyone interested about story of development of Yukon into the game, I highly recommend reading LittleWhiteMouse's review of it and their part in this story. Very interesting read.

Don't buy this ship. It's trash and it supports WG way  to do business.

Yukon has the worst T7 battleship range. This is a major handicap versus T7 battleships and cruisers, now picture it versus T8 and T9.

In comparison with King George V and Duke of York, its guns are 381mm (vs 356 mm) witch can overmatch 26mm (hardly a novelty as there are already several ships with overmatch at T7), but with 31.5s reload on the 3 x 3 guns with bad arcs and bad traverse, they bring absolutely nothing to the table.

 

Sorry WG, but this ship is pure garbage.

As a collector I was tempted to get it for FXP because many expected it to be the replacement for Nelson. But I will pass easily. Bad offer, as others have explained. Haven´t heard a single good point about it, seems like a meh ship overall. Range-wise the Flint of the BBs.

I don’t mind WG creating bad, uninspiring premium ships. I simply don’t buy them and even if WG throws it at us in gamble crates it s just another reason not to buy those gamble crates  as well.

It just doesn't make sense why they would not buff its stats namely its firing range and if it too slow then give it speed booster and put it at tier 8! It'd be a completely fine ship with 9x 380mm guns.

 

Why giving its garbage stats just to put it at tier 7 where you can face tier 9 on a regular basis ?
