Idea for extension of unique upgrade modules to T9 and T8 and T7 ships

I have Idea for extension of unique upgrade modules to T9 and T8 and T7 ships on this way

 

example 1: for Montana she have its Elite Damage Control Teams which give:

 

  • –10% to fire extinguishing time.

  • –10% to flooding recovery time.

  • –30% to rudder shift time.

  • –70% to steering gears repair time.

 

And my suggestion is that it give:

 

1. –10% to fire extinguishing time to all T7 American BB

 

2. –10% to fire extinguishing time.

    –10% to flooding recovery time. to all T8 American BB

 

3. –10% to fire extinguishing time.

    –10% to flooding recovery time.

    –30% to rudder shift time. to all T9 American BB

 

4. –10% to fire extinguishing time.

    –10% to flooding recovery time.

    –30% to rudder shift time.

    –70% to steering gears repair time. to all T10 American BB

 

example 2: for Hindenburg he have its Upgraded Damage Control Equipment which give:

 

  • –50% to main battery repair time.

  • –40% to fire extinguishing time.

  • –70% to flooding recovery time.

  • –20% to rudder shift time.

 

And my suggestion is that it give:

 

1. –50% to main battery repair time. to all T7 German CL

 

2. –50% to main battery repair time.

    –40% to fire extinguishing time. to all T8 German CL

 

3. –50% to main battery repair time.

    –40% to fire extinguishing time.

    –70% to flooding recovery time. To all T9 German CL

 

4. –50% to main battery repair time.

    –40% to fire extinguishing time.

    –70% to flooding recovery time.

    –20% to rudder shift time. To all T10 German CL

 

Of course I know that will be difficult to make 4 unique modifiers combinations for every nation ship class but I think that isn’t impossible.

 

I also suggest that unique upgrades get/use its own upgrade slot and still use research points for purchase so it still don’t be easy to get but of course upgrade for T7 don’t cost that much like upgrade for T10 ships in research points.

So the experienced players get an advantage over players that lack these. Of course cause those players and whales who will spend all theyre income for free xp and then for resets need any sort of helping. How about get rid of legendary modules from RB and make them missions for each individual t10 ship,like it was before?

Or how about premium upgrades that are like 25% better compared to the standard upgrades! But you can only get them for gold...err I mean doubloo...I mean an ingame resource that you can grind but can take a shortcut with cash :Smile_great:

Arent unique upgrade modules to T10 ships is there from begin of game? only way of get it is changed before few years ago.

Guys I can accept part of your options against changes to unique upgrade modules but from my point of view unfair is also that only T10 ships have access to unique upgrades if it is present in game. I think that most players play with T7, T8, and T9 ships due high cost of playing with T10 without premium camouflage and submission + you get more reward if you hit higher tier ship with lower tier one.

 

I know that RP is hard to get that must be but maybe there can be added more way to get it to be more available to player.

Does anybody actually buy the legendary modules from the research bureau?

 

Spending that much on a module of negligible benefit instead of saving up for an interesting ship such as the Paolo Emilio or ignoring the Research bureau entirely is surely unwise.

I'm afraid it's extremely unlikely to happen for a couple of reasons that I can think of:

  • 'Impossible' to balance all the permutations (WG have enough trouble in this regard with the regular ships as it is).
  • A lot of work for WG, for limited financial return.
  • Crucially, I imagine demand would also be limited - the subset of players who keep on playing ships below T10 is, I suspect, quite small; in that context, how many people will put in the effort for expensive sidegrades (assuming they're as meh as most of the existing T10 ones)?

Of course, WG could increase demand by making such LUs actively good, in which case, they walk into the teeth of the vociferous objections to the original RB concept (putting 'must have' upgrades behind a massive grind wall is wholly unacceptable to the bulk of the community it seems); they could sell them for money/doubloons, of course, but then you're taking a stroll into P2W, which is also unacceptable to many.

They provide a different playstyle, not an advantage.

Think that will be the main reason, even yet not all T10s have legendary modules. Guess it takes also too much time to balance them
