Just went from tier VIII to IX over the whole line = 960 million credits... If I am not mistaken, this key is automatically assigned to 4, but if you already have something there, it will be unassigned, as you can see in your port. Yes, always did with every tier, except for all CV and EU DD line. Just becomes a lot slower at the end.....obviously. In my case - TONE's fighters had no weapon group assigned by default (showing "-"). Since I am stupid I did not realize that and was unable to launch fighters in the first round. But I was able to shoot my guns. THEN I assigned "4" to weapons group 4 in the settings and now it shows 4 for the fighters and I can launch them in game. BUT - now I can NO LONGER shoot the main guns ffs?? They are assigned to 1 and 2 and 3 for torps. Nothing except the fighters works now. I think YabbaCoe is thinking too lightly about what SHOULD happen automaticly but does not, and possibly causes more issues. I can not use the TONE in battle. I mean - I just added "4" to the corresponding weapons group. Fighters work now. Nothing else. But having a few plays it strikes me as an excellent IJN Cruiser that is not as gimped as Ise is in it's main role : being a ship of the class she is without the planes. Excellent rear firing angles of the all in front turrets. Double torpedo launchers in rear angled direction meant to sink persuiers. The planes are virtually the same as Ise's so are even more a gimmick at this tier. But Ise needed them to fill the gap of the missing 4 x 356 mm's....and i don't feel that is as important for Tone.
