Yeah, that was the moment I said "eff it" and got the hell outta dodge. Twitch was the only site I was willing to play with for the purpose of the "giveaway", but that's too much shadiness right there.

Don't you think it's a bit of a slap in the face to those who have spent money and supported WG to be told don't bother entering, we already have your money so feel no need to give you the same opportunities as players who don't spend money.

 

All this screw you cos we have your money already attitude does'nt make me want to spend more with you it just makes me never want to give you another penny. You show us paying customers no loyalty so why should we continue to support WG.

 

Short answer is i no longer do. I'll spend my money in games where it's a little more appreciated.

As it is written in the article, those are challenges, not missions, that you would need to do in-game.

This giveaway is basically to promote our Social Media channels

Sorry to disappoint you with this event. Main goals, as was mentioned was to try to promote our social media channels and also to give opportunity to those players, who doesn't own that ship, to have the option to win that certain ship.

So we are giving a chance to win a new ship. In case you are one of those, who unfortunately have all of those listed, I feel sorry, but you can't win in this giveaway.

But worry not, there will be another events, giveaways and similar.

Your missing the point, it's been a long standing issue with you people for a long time now. You have been ignoring long standing, paying customers for years now, excluding them from lots of events and give aways while...........ahhhh lets get real here, WG doesn't care, doesn't listen, you as a community manager are simply there as a buffer zone for those at Wargaming so they don't have to see anything negative, your the filter with a polite condescending smile on your faces that says "we look like we're listening but we are not really".  Which i might add your very good at. I'm guessing no real concerns of the community ever reach those that matter at WG because none of the long standing issues in the game are ever really addresssed. I mean hybrid ships, russian paper CV's who anywhere except those shielded from the truth at WG thought more planes and more protections for those planes and cv's was a good idea in the game. No one sane anyway.

 

Anyway enough, i can see you smiling politely, nodding a little in agreement while in reality we all know none of these issues or player frustrations voiced anywhere in the forum will ever make it's way to the decision makers. We wouldn't want to dull the happy view of their rose tinted glasses now would we.
