Now, I cannot imagine my life without her. This is how a BB should work, hits hard, tanks hard but has vullnerabilities. I went back to Tirpitz, my all time favorite, after a couple of Lenin games, and I was shocked by the gun performance. The OP is right that Lenin is a very strong battleship that can be punished when broadside as battleships should be. In combination with Kuzenetzovs emergency heal it killed countless enemies that already uncorked their champagne over it's sinking. That is it's own has high amusement value. It also must be the ship that has performed most ramming kills on my account, as it is quite hard to put down before it touches the enemy ship even if multiple enemy allies try to prevent it. The Russian cheatbote BBs always outperform other BBs in rams, it seems to be part of the package of boosts that WG gives those broken ships. I noticed that running Vlad. So I never ram them. Vlad has 1.6, Lenin 1.7, but with the Russian dispersion which is much better from close to mid ranges. Also Lenin has some better Russian dispersion retaining the original bugged dispersion formula, but the details are black magic. Vlad is also very good tho Vlad has more HP and much punchier guns. Lenin pen falls very badly at long range, coming off worse than the Bismarck after a certain threshold. But Lenin has better accuracy and better turret layout/turret traverse. But one of the biggest differences between the two is their ability to tank damage, specifically HE. Lenin might have less HP but it has a far superior ship layout to tank due to its lack of superstructure, ice breaker, and extended deck plating that leaves less of the bow vulnerable than Vlad. Here's a screenshot to compare the two. The armor on the Lenin is so insane that I managed to tank focus fire from 7 ships and last for over 7 minutes with 5.6 million potential damage. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
