I only see one snowflake with hidden stats complaining about bad stats from others.

O' sweets sails of irony...

see pic 20% diff

That happens when you look at useless ship WR.

1 or 4 battles on a ship are not statisticly relevant.

1. It's a 10% difference

2. Those unicums are just rerolls

3. You probably add to your team's low wr.

This obsession with matchmaking monitor appears to be afflicting a lot of those players who are looking for culprits others than themselves...

Just remove the MM monitor mod. Knowing the stats of the teams upfront only serves to fulfill the prophecy that was just revealed to you

MM monitor, or as I call it "The wet XVM", is only useful to send people into a state of rage over nothing and throw the game because "he mad".

It's the same old discussion from WoT and it's getting boring... :fish_palm:

True, but he's still kind of right, though:

- the enemy team had 7 points higher avg. WR

- 27% more avg. xp

- 211% more avg. games played

And?

It's called random for a reason.

Meh.

If it were "random", divisions wouldn't be allowed.

If it were "random", you wouldn't have (usually) the same number of ships of each class, from each tier, in both teams.

Balancing the win-rates somewhat wouldn't go against the spirit of "randomness" any more than balancing ship classes and tiers already does.

Everyone also profits from being on the "better" team every now and then. People need to look at a larger amount of games and not trust their gut feelings. You may have 20 losses in a row which you contributed to and it feels like really "always" bad matchmaking, but when looking at the last 100 or more games in most cases it equals out. Also the majority of players heavily underestimate the influence one player can have on the outcome of a match. And it does not help to disable statistics, because this way you cannot get an understanding of it. Sure it is annoying to be called out for it, but once you ask for help and do not play the know-it-all, people will actually explain and assist. The worst thing about WoWS is the ignorance, learning resistance and unsportsmanship of actually bad players refusing to improve.

It would make playing even harder for the average player, always facing equally skilled players without the benefits of having even worse players to stomp at. Anyways, steamroll wins and losses are annoying, but they mostly depend on certain game design decisions and a lot of unqualified players rushing up the tiers.

Another scrub who doesn't understand what RANDOM means. And only cherry pick the one game they are unhappy with. Not the other games where it goes all their own way.

@YabbaCoe

I'm wondering why such a toxic mod as MM monitor is allowed.

In my opinion it serves nothing positive, and only makes it easier for players to (stat)shame others.

Simple solution MM should refuse to work for anyone with hidden stats...

After all it is hypocritical to look at others stats when yours are hidden.

:cap_popcorn:

ps. mine are not hidden to entertain the good players..:cap_cool:

That's true, of course, but I'd much prefer some balanced games, meaning they're only decided in the last 5-10 minutes, over steamrolls that "equal out over 100 or more games"

The benefit of having worse players (teams) to stomp at, and the penalty of having better players (teams) to be stomped by, over enough games.

I don't believe a partially-balanced MM (say, the two teams can't differ by more than 4% avg. WR) would completely eliminate steamrolls, as some of them simply depend on luck and a snowballing effect, but it would likely make them rarer, and I'd take an entertaining loss over a boring steamroll, whichever team wins it, any day.

Just a thought but can we have a “self destruct” button installed on all ships so when we find out that MMM says we are going to lose, we can just get it over with 😂

Just set autopilot for red base, you'd be surprised how many games can be won that way....:Smile_hiding:

1- Why are you even using MMM anyway?

2- You're at T5, do you really expect a competitive unicum team there? Those are rare even on T10

3- If you're consistently unhappy with your team, have you ever tried divisioning up with someone you know? I heard it's fun.

Its not pointless.

In fact it makes you play worse, since that tiny 7% WR difference becomes a self fullfilling prophecy.

Yeah, there is the possibility that knowing what u are up against is worse than an open minded approach
