Today i unlocked Yamato.

So i unlocked Yamato, yay. And t10  matches are boring. 

Majority of games i played were with german BBs but after rework they are kinda more punch bag so i went for Yamato.

Sure i can get closer and closer to enemy (too much brawling/pushing in the past) but then i get nuked. Theres more but we all know how matches look now.

I will not go play lower or mid tier ships, i did not invest my time and small amounts of my money on premium time in past just to go back to lower tiers.

I did try every type of ship cruiser, dd and carrier to check how i will feel playing it, but it ended up on german bbs.

Being punch bag in german bbs is not fun, shooting 20-25km salvos is boring,

And next in line are airstikes and sumbarines. more stuff making bbs stay behind  making game in high tiers even more boring. 

Im not even frustrated anymore, i gave up, but playing boring game would make me go insane sooner or later.

You have 442 battles in Musashi. Literally the same ship just with worse sigma and AA than Yamato.

 

However, at tier 9 Musashi is an OP monster.

 

Are you sure you're not just disappointed that Yamato isn't OP like Musashi and that's leading you to play terribly in Yamato?

• Tier X gameplay is not that different to Tier IX gameplay
• she is your 4th Tier X ship and your 14th Tier IX/X ship, why are you surprised?
• when you do not like High Tier, why did you continue going for it?
• apart from that, it always helps to take your time to get used to a ship

I bought musashi to make credits long time ago, theres so many battles in it also because i used musashi to free exp yamato.

I went on yt plenty of times to check what ships i might like, and grinded them, thats why  only t10 are kurfust, monty, midway and now yamato

Because yamato was my last ship to unlock i wanted to play, yeah i know the difference between yama na musashi, i took me so much time because i didint like to play izumo.

I would rather play kurfust, but i would have to play it like yama, so its better to play yamato.

Trust me, that's not the worst thing. Carrying low-tier knuckle-draggers in an endless cycle of 'one step forward and two steps back' Ranked is really ticking me off. Maybe I should just stick in bronze, collect the steel every week and wait it out until the season is over. Anyways, I just had to vent about Weegee's insane idea of mid tiers in ranked. It sucks for anyone who isn't on Payfasts or HP Printing Rodneys.

 

As for Yammy, she's a rare combination of god-tier guns, good speed, and durable armor... the angling can get weird at short distances due to the floating octagon citadel but she can still shatter BB shells from a distance and still sail away without a scratch.  It's also surprisingly nimble as BBs go and can still blow other BBs out of water in close-quarter brawls if the odds are stacked in her favor. 12/10 Best BB in the game! Better than Musashi (laughable AA, turrets that take an eternity to turn, awful dispersion)  in just about everything.

Well... first GZ on getting the Yamato, the only actually real tier X BB in the game.

 

I'm not sure why you find the Yamato problematic as opposed to the Musashi, the differences between them are not big enough to make them feel that much different, or that you IMO would need to play them differently. You should check if you have the optimal captain build, regardless, and equipment choices as well.

 

Different people may want to play these ships differently, my own preference is relatively active, but circumstance may at some stages force you to adopt a more cautious approach. While both are easily among the best BBs in the game, they are not invincible and you will need to keep an eye on enemy ships, positions, your team and your own position in relation to all of those.

 

There is a difference between tiers 9 and 10 which is that the latter tends you punish you for any mistakes, yours or your team, more severely. It can also reward you more handsomely for any mistakes by the enemy.

 

Having said that, I can't say if I prefer tier 9 or 10 more myself. I prefer certain ships, and with other lines I rather go 10, with others I stick to 9.

I see, so the problem is with the overall game design which is flawed IMO. It depends what people find interesting and what they find boring. Some people may, for instance, not exactly sure why or how exactly they do it, find it tremendously exciting to park their ship (much as they would be watching a movie at a drive-in theatre, or perhaps, a sail-in theatre more appropriately) and start lobbing ammo at the red ships from the cover of their island... or from cover of smoke in case there is no comfy rock at hand.

 

I don't, of course.

 

As I've often said previously, I prefer gunnery driven dynamic tactical engagements (no, my aim sucks but I still like that aspect because this is supposed to be a wargame) packed with at least a token of that excitement that the WoWS trailers misleadingly seem to promise.

 

Perhaps that could be called 'creative advertizing'?

 

I don't know how you want to play the game, but what I said about situation awareness goes, regardless of how you or anyone else is playing. If you are willing to take a gamble and the risk that goes along with it, you may play your Yamato differently from the way WG's stale gameplay mechanics are set and see if you can have more fun that way. It won't always work, though, so unless you're clearly and unmistakably better than I am, be prepared to suck a lot of the time. IMO, nonetheless it's better to play the way you want to play, cause that's where the fun is. At least for me.

why not tho ... soo manny ppl think T10 is The end  But its not all tiers can be played 

 

and about having to snipe in BB's in T10 most times thats just an excuse for players because their too scared to deal with the game mechanics Tbh

Sure, now i cant have negative opinion about something in game,  i play games how i want, my end goals were monty, kurfust and yama, midway i unlocked just to see if i will like playing t10 carrier after carrier rework, my fun was destroyed with cpt rework, so i think i will try something else than german bb, i unlocked yama.

I know i should play game how it was intended, research every ship, train captain for every ship, buy all premiums so i can get credits and train captains faster, buy houndreds of containers, buy 10 years of premium time, and whatever WG would i should accept it with smile and say i love it.

Fu... wg fanboy, that dosent understand that not all ppl have fun same way. And can have different opinion, even NEGATIVE !!!!

Well, if you like brawling with secondaries blazing, the options are.. shall we say, fairly limited currently. However, I'm sure as we speak WG is a) hard at working to find a solution; and b) even harder of thinking how to make the most money through it.

Yamato actually is one the best ships out there.
