Step 3. Deploy on a poor sob who thinks he is safe in a static position.

I mean I am kinda happy to see this in testing to  be honest. The more disgusting it is there the more likely it will be nerfed live....Oh wait this is wg, so they will probably change the cooldown to like 2 min and say all is well. Still stationary ships have always been punished by airpower and HE.

I cannot believe that this has gone anywhere near actual live testing. No wait, this is WG game, ofcourse it is in live testing. There's no idea dumb enough for anyone at WG to go, "NO". And because it's in live testing, there's at most a slight nerf before it's introduced. So we all better play the shi* out of this game while it's in even mildly enjoyable state.

 

More seriously though, Wargaming, could you please stop "developing" this game. every change you've made in past couple of years have made the game worse. I, for one, would be satisfied if you did nothing from this point on. No new mechanics, no new ships, no new maps, no new nothing. Every change you make makes the game worse.

This is something that I find genuinely confusing. Almost every CC and anyone of value on the official Discord will come out and claim that it was just one day of testing and of course there will be changes. Please, everyone, do not be fooled by this, these ships have been in testing for weeks, if not months, and these tests resulted in buffs for them:

First "leaks" from non supertest of those strikes appeared at least 3 weeks ago

There also have been clips of BB being struck for 30k by a single airstrike. Just because CC do not know how to aim these properly does not mean that it is impossible. You can aim guns with 10s flight time, no problem, a lot of torpedoes take longer to hit their target and you can still hit with them.

That would be overkill.

 

A tripple division would have a total of 432 bombs or a potential damage of 3.7 million. Even with a 1/3 reduction and a 50% (the area is twice the size of a BB) this is 6 entire Kurfürst worth of damage. Plus fires and stuff ofc.

Then why not just remove islands? Easiest solution to your apparently massive problem with the game.

 

Also, if you can no longer use the islands in the center of the map ... you want more border humping BB?

 

So far, and please correct me if I am wrong, BB being so close to the middle of the map that they can use islands as cover is one of the smallest problem the game has. BB standing at 20km+ and sniping all day long without playing the objective however ...
