Now, i do not mind dead eye is gone, I agree it promoted boring gameplay and was absolutely gamebreaking when applied to some battleships that were designed to have a large dispersion to counterbalance their heavy broadside but...

 

isn't it wonderful they substituted it with something even they realize is essentially useless to BBs, so much so they didn't dare to give it the "recommended skill" triangle?

Recommended triangle depends on the ship. Not all BBs have the same recommendations.

its still an utterly useless skill for a BB at 4 points. 

the lazy f*ckers are mad cause everyone told them their rework is shite so they just threw this in with the lowest possible effort

True and I admittedly I don't have many BBs, but the only one I've have it recommended for is the Thunderer and, seriously? An extra 2.95 knot for some part of the battle over fire prevention expert? I say PAH to that, sir!

I am glad that Dead Eye is gone, but I cannot think of a worse skill for a Battleship. I mean, it would be a doubtful pick even for one point, but for four points it's just laughable. A much better option would've been "Top Grade Gunner" or "Outnumbered" from the cruiser skill tree.

As I said, "I do not mind dead eye is gone, I agree it promoted boring gameplay" so I really don't see the point of the mocking there.

Its just a placeholder until "anti-sub" skills come same as many of the other reworked skills

My anti-sub skill costs 0 points and it's called uninstalling, if they actually bring them in random battles.

Well, how about "Extra lifeboats" and "fast SOS telegraphist" for 2 each? Or "super swift rudder (give +100% rudder shift time bonus if a sub is within detectability range)" for 4?

It will probably vary in strength, according to nationality (Such as "smoke" and "Damage Control", for example)

 

Of course Russian battleships will get strongest ASW - just like "real life"!  :Smile_hiding::Smile_trollface:

Wargaming's WoWs build recommendations are usually so bad you can't help but think they are intentionally misleading.

 

They used to recommend full torpedo boat build for Smaland, no SE for IJN torpedo boats, and Deadeye was only ever meant for Englischer BBs, apparently.

Well the way I understand them there will be anti-sub weapons/cunsumables (depthcharges and such) and skills as well

I am very sad and I feel cheated and let down by WG again. Let's assume that I hadn't been running dead eye on all high pointers and that I got a severe brain malfunction :cap_haloween:and I want spec into this brand new great skill.:Smile_trollface:

What do I have to do to try it? I have to pay.:Smile_coin:

So you changing my options, basically another small scale rework but I can't afford to try it without paying? :cap_like::Smile_facepalm:

The same applies to the other classes with a difference that those bluffed skills for gunboat dds and some light cruisers actually do make sense. 

Another shameless cashgrab by greedy :etc_swear:s.

The whole captain skill system would be significantly improved if changing you build was free. It would encourage build diversity and experimentation rather than following the 'meta' for every captain because once the skill is set you don't want to have to change it.

 

Almost every other game allows unlimited free respecs, and it's a perfect example of where WG prioritizes money over user experience.
