Are you get Admirals Yamamoto and Halsey?

Hey Guys and Ladies I am curious how much of you get admirals Yamamoto and Halsey?

 

For me as person with disability (more info in my profile) objectives to get admirals Are you get Admirals Yamamoto and Halsey is too difficult + I am not CV and DD player because for it you should have fast reactions and quick reflexes. I think that this objectives should get easier difficulty (for choice) but with lower rewards If main reward for stage is super containers what we get 3 basic containers etc

 

What you think about add difficulty option for objectives

Last two objectives for get Kirov is also impossible to reach in that small time period + without ranked.

I got both, playing slowly over time, not playing CVs at all. You can just repeat the same task all over again.

Got both of them...Yamamoto on my Yamato (such a cliche) and Halsey in my Ohio and Gearing for which he is trained for.

 

I've got them over time...not rushing. But I have to say they are worth to have!

For 10 stars you can repeat the same 1 star mission 10 times.

Working on Yamamoto to have it in Yamato later. I agree that missions take a lot of time, like many months or maybe close to a year.

It takes time but you can only do the XP and credit missions over and over again. Many people just do it that way. Some other missions are simply too hard.

I got both by redoing all the easy coop missions.

Have Halsey, stage 4 for Yamamoto. 200% first win days helped alot on the " get XP " tasks.

I also just picked the one or two easiest objective and repeat. there will be something that you can do.

 

Just turn on the objectives than forget about them until you get the notification that you have completed one.

 

Then go and restart it and play again.

 

Might take a while but you will get there.

Incidentally, one wonders why the campaing rewards went from very nice in the Yamamoto/Halsey campaigns (15 Stars 'n' Stripes camos, 50 AA flags, 30 free xp flags...) to mediocre in the recent ones (7 fire flags? come on...)

Got both and tbh it didn't take me that long , just redo the easy missions and if you play a lot it will be done in no time .

My current issue is i dont have the ships i plan to use them on : Yamato and Des Moines , but will get there eventually

I have Halsey trained on Des Moines and also use him for Ohio, Georgia, Massachussetts, Alaska and Anchorage. Iowa/Montana use one of the Does.

Yamamoto is right now trained on Kita for Ranked (I do not use Harugumo very often) and I also use him on Hizen.

 

I personally think that Yamamoto better fits on the gun-DD line rather than on the BB-line due to the additional consumable for First Blood. 

And I cannot remember when I got a Kraken with the Yamato and the second wind was really necessary for the sixth kill. In fact, I remember only one Kraken with Kita, where the Second Wind really helped.

 

But of course, I would put him on Musashi and Shikishima, if I had them.

Have them both by repeating the missions I feel comfortable doing, it takes a few months to get there but the final reward will make it worthwhile. My Yamamoto is currently at 20pts and Halsey is undergoing retraining as a cruiser commander cause his skills are better utilized on a Wooster than Montana.

Some missions are quite easy to repeat - like XP ones, credit-earning ones or planes shot down, if you kinda decide to focus on that. 

The good thing is, that you can have 2 tasks running at the same time (3 with premium time), so you can get those stars even faster.

Which campaign are you talking about with fire flags? 

Also over time campaigned rules changed. Yamamoto and Halsey ones were released in similar way, kinda. But after that we for example had the campaign for Swirski, which was time limited and also regarding legendary commanders, we have much more ways how to distribute them.

I'm talking about your typical reward in the Halsey/Yamamoto campaign vs your typical reward in the Swirski/ages-of-sail campaigns.

There are grindy tasks in every part of the campaign  (like earn XY credits, deal XY damage) which can be rerun over and over again to complete the campaign. You will not receive rewards for that particular task again, but you will earn stars and unlock the final one which is earn 30k XP. Yes it takes time, but you can do it in anything. Unless you are afk you always get some XP even for losing.

I had both campaigns running at the same time.

And, as others have said, you can do the same 1 star tasks in co-op over and over again, using what ever types of ship you are most comfortable with.

I just let them both simmer on the back burner while playing the game normally.

Only time I took notice of the campaigns was when I had earned a star and had to accept the task, again.

FWIW, I have Halsey on my Des Moines - 1.3sec to switch ammo types is great!

 

Edit : Just wish there were campaigns for Lutjens & Kuznetzov too

Two of the best commanders in the game, a must have if you play IJN and/or US ships. You can repeat tasks, you do not have to complete all of them. While you can repeat them and get the star for them, you only get the reward once. But the grind is worth it.

Yes both of them. Took a long while to get it, but that just makes it feel that much more of achievement when you do it.
