I will be interested to see how the community react to battle of the beasts, in previous events like sharks vs eagles it was easy to see which team would win.

Can you make in next patch special tournament, Batlle of Balance, in short devs  vs community.

When you present in dev blog some future changes small or big (map, game type,ship etc), players can challenge devs in to battle best of 3, and if community players win you cant implement them for whole year (every change must be fought separately).

After a year devs can fight for them.

To make money out of this you will allow players bet with doubloons.

Teams would be made of best players from both sides. Live, on stream, with delay.

This will be definitely interesting thing to observe, as now we have 4 different teams, but the competition is yet a little different. Now you will have special missions depending on which team you will choose and rewards are based on your activity and also on activity of others, that chose the same Beast.

Well, of course we are looking at the data gathered from all of our servers, before we decide what to do with certain ships. I know, that you would definitely prefer to have same range as Atlanta has, but we prefer small balance changes, than going really overboard and after that we would need to do all that check and changes again.

Flint got slight range buff and slight reload nerf. We all will see, how this will influence the behaviour of her in battles.

Its quite Annoying that Achievements are not Rewarded anymore. So much for Rewarding Good Players and at least giving some Consolation to People who fell Victim to the Fun and Engaging (NOT) Game Mechanic of Detonation.

 

But thats not even the Worst Issue I have with this Change....

 

The Worse Change Frankly is that once again its Containers....

Not sure why WG is so Obsesses with turning everything into a Lottery Lately.... 2 Years Ago I joked about it that one Day we will not be getting Ships by Grinding a TechTree but by Earning Daily Shipyard Tokens and Building Random Ships in the Dockyard....

By now I am not Sure anymore that this really will remain a Joke much longer.

 

 

Lately it feels like everything you change is turned into some form of Gambling.

 

Rewards you get for Clear Cut Objectives are Removed one after the other and Replaced with some Random Chance instead.

Now. One could Complain that in alot of Cases the Former Fixed Reward is now the Maximum Roll on that Random Chance or that in many cases even a Maximum Roll is not actually giving you the Former Reward anymore.

But thats a different Issue.

The Fact that you get less and less Fixed Rewards for Clear Cut Objectives. And get more and more Randomized Rewards is whats really Annoying me to no end.

 

 

The Reason I Play Gacha Games on my Smartphone is because my Smartphone Game have to Fulfill 2 very Importand Criteria due to the Fact that I play them in between on a Device the Size of my Hand.

Which is that they cant be something that requires any sort of skill and must be something that I can pause anytime and do in between.

 

But I dont Play such Games at PC.

In Fact when I have 2 Weeks of Holidays I will often be Absent in Games like Azur Lane for 2 Weeks. Because at Home I have no reason to Play any of these Games.

 

After all. Why would I play a Gacha Game at home where I got Real Games where I can Progress myself instead of just Rolling Dice ?

So in short i was right roughly a month ago, when i called it a blatant cash grab and a change for the worse. It sucks to be right :( WG just keeps dishing out absolutely mind boggling changes and this was flying under a radar for a long time. Pure greed and anti-consumer practises win again.

 

We can summarize it by the classical "it's a shortcut, but it takes much longer" logic. Yes you will be getting less flags, yes your actual good performance is not going to be rewarded anymore, yes we want you to spend resources buying flags. But hey as a bright side you won't get the desirable flags and you will be able to enjoy more rng based lootbox mechanic.

The number of signals before really depended on how good you were to score those achievements.

  1. You reduce the reward for good play
  2. You increase the reward for bad play
  3. You could have chosen to add the reward to the rewards for the archievements

I seriously don't envy you having to toe the company line, because i can't imagine you yourself believe such load of nonsense. You crap all over Coop players for years and now you are using them as an excuse for a bad change for majority of people ? Laughable. Modern communism with "Everybody will have less, but they will be equal". Here you go kid, participation trophy to show how "special" WG is.

Well, for me personally it is an addition, as I am not one of those, who are scoring achievements in every single battle, unfortunately. So I will benefit from this, though I agree we should have this + still something for achievements themselves or having those missions being triggered by achievements.

Also this is a good news for coop players, as I mentioned. I know, that we usually don't do much for our coop audience, but as you can see, sometimes we make something, that should make them happy.

The main reason for all changes was the fact, that the achievements section in-game wasn't updated for a long time and it is kinda chaotic, not really clear. Just all those icons next to each other. The main change is about the appearance of the Achievements screen. 

After that not for every achievement, we had signals, we also were experiencing some bugs and technical difficulties for some achievements and rewards, and some signals were not even given by the achievements reward system.

But honestly, still, it would be interesting to see the percentage, how many of the signals from achievements are from all the signals got from any other way - missions, special events, containers.

Ok, actuially i don´t write anything here but now its the best time to i think.

Im realy sad about whats happend to the Flint, i realy loved to play the ship for a verry long time. Sadly in the last few months i tried to play Flint again and its in my oppinion not worth playing anymore cause it make no fun at all. I realy hope that u give her back the range.
