Lots

  • 100,000 Coal: starting bid25,000,000 Credits; 5,000 winners.
  • British Commander Adrian Griffiths with 14 skill points and 20 Rising expendable camouflages: starting bid9,000 Doubloons; 1,000 winners.
  • Thunderer commemorative flag: starting bid1,500 Doubloons; 2,500 winners.

I thought players can create their own auctions...... so, there will only be these three options?

Giving coop players a chance to earn signals is fine and dandy but surely there was no reason to remove the rewards from the achievements, was there?

This is basically dumbing down the game to the lowest common denominator even further and punish actually good players that can earn achievements consistently.

As I said earlier, I do not think it is used to give coop some rewards, I think it is used to even out everything between all players. Right now good players get a almost bottomless income of flags, while bad players get nothing. Pretty sure for 90% of the playerbase a Kraken requires insane luck and is a "once a lifetime" kind of thing. This is not about coop, coop is just a side effect of base exp as a requirement.

Yes, Dragon, Scylla, Leviathan etc. are the special signals, which are in those Gift containers.

Ok, that changes things.

So it also is a improvement for the good players.

No, it was never meant to be a player driven system, only as a way for collectors to get new shiny stuff.

No player could provide 500 of a memorative flag, which was the core example of the announcement.

Oh don't misunderstand, i know perfectly well what WG is doing, but for all intents and purposes this could still be called dumbing down the game by not rewarding good skills anymore.

And yeah, the free dragon flags are probably the only silver lining, as slim as it might be.

Only these three stuff will be in the auction in 0.10.4. It is the first itteration of the auction and we will see after that, how popular it was, and what to probably add there in the future.

But no, players won't be able to create their own auctions.

Kinda yes. We will see.

True is, that some very skillfull players who are scoring some achievements regularly probably won't get as much as they are used to until now.

But atleast now they can get special signals, which are in bigger value, actually.

Debatable. I have yet to find a single special flag to help me in battle, whereas many of the regular flags for achievments do. Special flags are the literal icing on the cake, and while the new cake may look prettier now it also did become a lot smaller.

@YabbaCoe will Agincourt be available by other means i.e. premium store or is she only going to be dropping from the Battle of Jutland containers? It'd be very disappointing if that were the case.

No signals for achivements is another lame ressource drain.

Isnt it enough to pay the 2 Mio WG-RNG-Tax aka Deto-Flags?

Lame WG. This is just unwanted and unnecessary.

How about instead you focus on fixing things or try to implement permanent new modes which are not dead on arrival like this super BB nonsense or Assy-Battles or...or...or...

GERMAN DESTROYERS PART 2 = who cares?

BATTLE OF THE BEASTS

Ok, if the missions are played with regular ships in regular modes.

GERMAN DESTROYERS COLLECTION = who cares?     (haven’t you already understood that)

AUCTION = desperate

GAME BALANCE CHANGES

Basically, you’re admitting that you’ve created a new system of crap skills that nobody wants, and are charging us extra points to get useful skills.

Rollback to 19 point system would be more than welcome. Your “diversity” has killed secondary builds and lots of 3 and 4 point skills aren’t active all the time. If I invest 4 points in a skill it should be active ALL THE TIME.

Ship changes – NO REASON TO BUY A PREMIUM SHIP EVER AGAIN!!!

ACHIEVEMENTS

I'm waiting for the next logical step - Random Bundle for dubloons that gives me the "chance" to get a mission that rewards me with flags.

BRAWL

5 vs 5 with CV

NO, THANK YOU

CLAN BATTLES

7 vs 7 with CV

NO, THANK YOU

ARMOURY

ISE = the beginning of the end, specially once Dutch cruisers get introduced.

CV + hybrid + Dutch carpet bombers + subs.

That will leave room for maximum 8 regular surface ships in a match. Well done WG!

Time to say thank you to WG. Thank you for this:

Spoiler

Changes to the post-battle summary for Co-op Battles

The rules of the post-battle summary for Co-op Battles are now different. Previously, when a Co-op Battle ended because the last player left, the game ended in a draw. Now, in a similar situation, the battle results are calculated as if the timer expired when the last player left.

This change will prevent situations where the last player has to wait for the battle to end so as to not to finish in a draw.

As a regular COOP player this infuriated me sometimes.

And for all the criticism I dish out, I have to say that from time to time, you really do solve problems in the game. So thanks.

I'm fairly positive minimum bid of 25,000,000 is not going to be nearly enough to win the coal auction. Prepare your cR wallets...

Wow a monster (sarcasm intended) 800mtr 'buff'? to Flints artillery range and a +0.2sec reload nerf! So basically Flint remains ruined. Outstanding :etc_swear: WG!

With respect. No it hasn't. They have now Nerfed its reload time, and its main battery range remains abysmal since the commander rework farce!

So you finally did it. Hybrids are coming.

Do I get my manual secondaries now? I mean, if you think, you dont you overburden ppl with controlling ship and plane....

So its definitely NOT an overburdance if you give us manually controlled secondaries.

I want my secondaries back on my Siegfried, it is the reason I grind for it!

Captain Skill cash grab

Removing the stealth penalty from the Fearless Brawler DD skill is a massive upheaval of the meta. Yet there is no universal captain skill reset, just for Deadeye captains. I will therefore quit the game for good as soon as 10.04 is rolled out.

What with the removal of team damage in 10.05, I shan't miss much.

But... but...

Yay Auctions!

That's truly why people come to a historical naval ship game!

Whoo hoo!!1

Seriously, not enough facepalms in the world.

Range is definitely improved and reload nerf is a few miliseconds which is nothing in game

Let's see what is new:

Battle of the beast – remake of an old event sharks vs eagles with meahh prizes… boring… at least last time they give us camo's

German destroyer collection – camo is nice, maybe I would try to get it

Auction – Copy/paste from WOT(black market), an excellent tool to further milk the player base

Game balance changesStalingrad and Thunderer nerf to the ground. Nerfing premium ships is bad for business, very bad. You should learn from your WOT colleagues, when they nerfed tanks they give the possibility to choose for reimbursement or accept changes. Personally I lost my interest for coal and steel ships.

Ranked, Brawl, Clan Battles – all 3 have CV’s in battles. You all know that in battles 7 vs 7 or 5vs 5 CV’s are in god mode, so what’s the point in playing that. Ranked is not anymore competitive, it is random 7 vs 7. The only brawl I will play is 1 vs 1, no matter the tier.

Following the nerf of Stalingrad and Thunderer, I lost my interest in premium ship so I do not need anymore coal or steel. Maybe I will play few CB if my clan decide to play against CV’s.

Armory – why should I buy Tier 8 Tiger ’59 or other new premium ships when I know that in 6-12 month you will nerf it?

No, it doesnt change anything "for the better". Its still a downgrade for any decent player. The Dragonflags? Icing on the cake. Dont really need that stuff.

I need my India Delta for the heal, November foxtrot for better CDs. The Economic flags are nice. But the Combat flags are gamechanger.

And lets not forgett the nice and engaging deotnation mechanic. Dont want that? Hey just run a flag!

WG tightens the leash on the F2P aspect of the game and makes it more pay to win and bends over the playerbase again.

And this change is not there to help "lower skilled players", this change is simply there to drain credits and other ressources out of the game cause you will need to buy flags in the armory now when you want to run a decent setup.  Need flags for your clan wars? Well that easily another 200-300k for every match you run. P2W just in a little nefarious way you cant see every match at the endscreen.
