What music do you listen to during your battles?

So, just out of curiosity, do you listen to any music outside the game's official soundtrack during your battles?

If so, what?

As for me, I listen:

-Cranberries, Dolores, such a great voice.... so sad that she ..... you know.....

-Heilung, a formidable band that sings a genre they define as "Amplified History", basically they chant runes poems of the first European peoples, located especially between Germany and Scandinavia. Their music is just magic, especially when Maria Franz starts singing.

-Pink Floyd, especially Ummagumma and The Dark Side of the moon albums.

-Last but not the least important, Frank Sinatra, I don't think there is anything else to add, the name already says it all.

Just the official soundtrack.

Because it is actually really good. I'm a sucker for orchestral arranges anyway.

Depends, mostly ingame music. But if I'm just playing for dailies I have things like Drachinifel or Mark Felton in the background. Or some political commentary.

Just the in-game soundtrack, I like it a lot. IIRC I have it on ''dynamic'' setting right now.

Otherwise - try guessing :cap_haloween:

Interesting. I actually do not listen to anything and have the music turned off. I find it distracting, in that it heightens stress - and that's the last thing I want.

I usually have all music off; I struggle to concentrate properly otherwise...

I replaced my in-game soundtrack with this:

Though I often shut down music wholesale.

I listen to the sound of my karma dropping if I'm playing CV. Even if I provide AA support and spot. :Smile_hiding:

Usually, I'm just lazy enough to listen to the in game soundtrack. Occasionally, however, I switch to ****You**** (not logged in, because I despise their 'business practices'). Sadly, no one seems to have gone to the trouble of creating a ready playlist of suitable naval themed music, so you have to pick them up as you go along.

This is what I would deem most suitable:

:Smile_trollface:

To balance that off, I can also play this to honour what once was the Real Russia as we fondly like to remember it.

TBH, there's a ton of suitable naval marches, songs, soundtracks to choose from, too many to list here.

Spoiler

As I usually mained IJN DDS, back when I actively played WoWS, I accompanied my engagements with japanese soundtracks. My two go-to suggestions would be:

Zipang soundtrack, especially "Mirai's battle Theme". I love the mournful saxophone paired with the urgent, determined arrangement. Perfect for those close engagements where you hold a cap singlehandedly against several enemies.

Okami soundtrack, especially "The Sun Rises". I mean with a title like that it's guarateed the flag of the rising sun is caught high in the wind and the chrysanthemum seal at the bow shines, ready to defend the home islands.

Heart like a grave with Insomnium.

And Rum, woman, victory with Ensiferum.

I am war with Mors Principium Est

And The Sovereign with Aephanemer

That was my choice for tonight

Lots of great songs to add to my battle playlist along with the ones I usually listen to as i told you earlier.
Many of yours among other things i didn't even know, really nice surprises, thank you very much.
I hope i did the same thing with you by telling you mine, i think it's nice to exchange our own "combative" musical tastes which, in one way or another, however, charge you at least from a psychological point of view, then it's clear that it depends on the person per person.

I listen to a wide variety of music depending on the class of ship I am playing.

For HE spam ships like gunboat dds, Smolensk, Worchester

For Regular and super cruisers

For all bb play

For regular dd play

For cv play
