I got Strasbourg somehow and never took it into random, just few sails in Narai (ah yes, sorry, it is in fact T6 BB). The WoWs MM is such top heavy now, that even Atago design looks like a stable construction compared with the tier distribution. Heck, how WG prevents it from capsizing is remarkable and shows their true expertise in online gaming development. But seriously, if you think about paying for Hyuga - DON'T! So, for example, Sinop and Haida are ok at T7 and Massa at T8, but most ships are not. The combination of two tier MM spread and the CV plague is killing ship diversity. Players have to ask Can I play in it uptiered? and How does it do against CVs? before they bring a ship. Most of my ships rust in port because they are unplayable in the current meta given those two constraints or like Atlanta and Yudachi, were screwed by the idiotic commander skill rework. Right now the sweet spot is T9.... It's not the spread, it has almost always been two tiers (in ancient prehistory, even worse as far as I remember). Perhaps they need to be there to stop the MM spread from collapsing? Not especially interested in IJN battleships - even if historical - so Hyuga isn't worth the cash. It's in that "I'd be disappointed if it fell out of a container category", with California, Florida and Poltava. The Ho-Hum Flotilla. WG really finds it hard to make Tier VII BBs fun these days. Would you buy the Krasny Krim for full price if WG offers you a +200%XP mission with it? (and calls it a special offer) I guess not, if you are not interested in the ship. Selling me something at full price and calling it a special offer is false claim, the free bubblegum I get when buying it is a freebie imo.
