Abusive Chat ban

So when I tell a player on my team that it is silly to have fired 4 torpedoes at my ship, I get banned from the chat for 24 hours, I inform WG that his automatic system is completely stupid and that as soon as therefore, I unilaterally decide to ban World of Warships from my computer. You have lost a customer, goodbye!

You cannot get chat banned for that.

As someone who has been banned frequently (yes glue eaters get under my skin) I never got banned for saying something polite.

What you posted might have been your point but not how you expressed it.

I haven't checked your chatlogs, but I am almost sure, that words you used were from forbidden ones and therefore you received a chatban for using abusive language in chat.

But still it is just a chatban for 1 day, nothing serious. Definitely not a reason to quit the game.

Dont worry, i will stay for a while. I'm addicted to completing all 100+ missions and events you throw at me. Might even torp some teammates if no enemies come out of spawn, just make sure to ban those who catch them. Fun game!

Everyone has his/her own reasons why to play the game or not. Nobody is forcing anyone to play. But I just find interesting the reason to leave the game, for being vulgar in chat and receive 24h chatban, which is definitely not preventing anyone from playing.

Maybe it is also his reason, but in a way how he wrote that, it seems he is mostly unhappy for him being also punished, while he was a victim. And also the name of this thread is mostly pointing towards his chat ban, not the fact, he was teamkilled.

Anyway, that teamkiller was punished directly in that battle and also OP should report him to CS, which can apply further punishments for this unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Well, until somebody with knowledge of those languages will add those words into those lists.

Also with more and more languages added there, we run more often to a situation, that some word in certain language is normal, but in other one it is vulgar. I think everybody of us, who learned any foreign language ran into these situations damn, I just remembered some situations, when I was trying to learn Finnish language, when I was in Finland

Yep. As already stated elsewhere on the forums I ran into a guy whose in-game nick would earn you a smack in the face if you say it to someone in Yugoslavia - while being the normal, official form of the name in Nordic countries.

one (harmless) example from my experience:

- say 11-13 in spanish: once-trece (spoken onse trese)

- say on se trese in Yugo; it means "he is shaking"

Even some of your ship names are quite vulgar, in some languages. 

For example, try the KITAkaza... quite sure you already found out that one though.
