Q: What is the shortest joke about WG ?

A: There is no Russian/Soviet bias in WG

Q: How many battleships need to sink a single Petropavlosk ?

A: 7 because the ship came from outer space to help Russians in their Panslavic dream of theirs and its armor is a secret metal alloy.

Q: Does ever WG lies about the events and their rewards ?

A: Never. Recent example the Italian mision containers that some of them were suposed that would include early access ships. So far none ever got one. An other example is Hizen.

Q: Are the ship crews blind in WG's prospective?

A: Yes they can not even see a Destroyer in distances more than 4 kms!

Q: What is over penetration?

A: Its an invantion by WG developers that excludes all physics laws about action and reaction.

Q: What is easier to load ? A 800 kgs shell in closed enviroment or a 2 tones torpedo in open deck?

A: The torpedo because according to WG Destroyer crews have 4 hands instead of 2 like all other normal human beings.

Q: The game is about ships. Can someone test naval tactics in it?

A: No because actuall naval battles were in open sea and not ina labyrinth of small rocks that turned the game to World of Tanks. If you like that style of playing is better to play Wold of tanks from the start.

Q: What is the factor of succefull ingition of a HE shell?

A: According to WG some captains have a majic wand that increases that factor!

Q: How many hits a Battleship needs to sink a Destroyer?

A: Douzens because WG put a penalty on the hit impacts on Destroyers. So its easier to sink a huge Battleship than a small destroyer agains all logic.

Q: Conclusion: Does it worth playinng World of Warships?

A: De[ends. IF you hide behind rocks waiting enemy ships to come to you thinking you drive a tank rather you command a ship, if you are playing a Destroyer that no battleship can sink you in a single salvo but you can launch 10-15 torpedos every minute and finally if you are playing with anything Soviet/Russian the answer is yes. If you seak realism or simple competition according to your skills and the skills of your opponets the answer in NO. In that case War Thunder is your primary choice.

If DDs are dumb-easy to play, then how come you don´t mange to succeed in them?

But upon seeing what your "problem" is I already knew what your stats would tell me

I reverse your argument. Playing thousands of battles with battleships i know perfectly well the "penalty" of hit against Destroyers:

Example:

Yamato vs Shimakaze:

Distance: 2 kms.

Yamato salvo 9 hits all hit the destroyer. 9x1450 = 13050 instead 0f 9x4500 = 40500

Shimakaze launces 15 torpedos. 9 hit the target 9 x 23766 = 213814

Before that idiot desision with the penalty of battleship hits on destroyers, destroyer players were carefull. Now they know no matter what they can not be sunk by a battleship in its 1st salvo.

Even if Yamato survives the first wave of 15 torpedos both loading times (yamnato's guns and shimakaze's torpedos are similar) plus shimakaze can withdraw in 4 kms distance maybe because the all thousands of Yamato's crews have forgoten to wear their glasses.

I have a better one:

Yamato and a DD ram eachother. Yamato doesn't even feel it, dd gets blown up instantly.

It's been a while since I've seen someone as dumb as OP. I guess the guy on NA that tried to buy habbakuk is the only one recent.

When a full health DD gets into 2km range of a BB, you know what kind of player is playing the BB. Especially when he does not have HE ready at that range and thinks that Sima vanishes at 4km... :Smile_facepalm:

Not true: Ref https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_off_Samar

Quote

The ship profiles and aggressiveness caused the Japanese to think the destroyers were cruisers, and the destroyer escorts were full-sized destroyers. Their lack of armor allowed armor-piercing rounds to pass right through without exploding, until the Japanese gunners switched to high-explosive (HE) shells, which caused much more damage

That never ever happened. No BB ever landed all shells of a salvo on the target, not even at 2kms.

A BB had to shoot three full ranging-salvoes to have any clue how far the enemy is. Then the real shooting started, and one hit every three salvoes was a good hit-ratio.

So irl you would spend the first ten minutes shooting the sea, not hitting anything, not even close.

You are confusing reality with a game.

A: No because actuall naval battles

Oh, so you do want more realism.

I´ll give you some realistic numbers:

- to build a BB was approx 100x more expensive than a DD. Is not reflected in-game, you pay about the same for a BB as for a same-tiered DD, which is a joke.

- to operate a BB is about 50x more expensive than a DD (when calculated per 1000sm sailed). In-game the service-cost is about same.

- two torpedoes from Shima would suffice to send your BB to the bottom.

- Torpedo-trails start about 50 meters behind the torpedo. Not at its front tip - and there is certainly no red tringle announcing it. So dodging them was more difficult, usually you notice them when the floor rams your knees into your stomach when your ship gets blown up.

Still sure you want more reality in-game?

I´ll give you one more: In reality Shima´s torpedos had 40km range.

I won´t even start pointing out all the other flaws of your perception. Like overpens on DDs ... irl they did even less than in Wows. A big shell goes through the bow of the ship, causes a hole and a few sailor´s hammocks go poof. So what? That doesn´t affect the ship´s fighting capabilities.

Q : If destroyers are so OP you need to make a whine-thread about it why do you have 8.000 games with only 86 in destroyers, all of which in tier 2
A : Because you noticed that unlike battleships, the destroyer class is not easy, you got owned by bots in tier 2 and you decided to become a battleship-only player

You missed one:

Q: how many BB did the USN build during WW2?

A: at least two hundred because that's how many DD they built and there are always more BB than DD.

With the greatest respect, you don't have a clue...At all.  That is a simple rant about nothing in no particular direction.

8154 battles and you can only manage 13,000 avg damage in your Yosh?  Dear god in haven.  I actually wanna rip my eyes balls out..:cap_haloween:

I do nearly as much damage damage in my tier 5 BB than you do in your tier 10 Thunderer and that is crazy avg damage strong! Just to put that into perspective a little.

This is a simple "get gud" response mate.  However, if you haven't leant the game after 8000+ battles and got even slightly "good" you never will.  That ship sailed long ago for you.

I don't like this chart... Secondaries are crap, AA is useless and carriers are OP: those 3 things are all true. And with the likes of thunderer and conq, wouldnt you say HE spam is too strong and fires are OP? :P

No. A Kagero can also shoot HE and cause fires and that is hardly too strong. Therefore your problem is not with the mechanic, but specific ships. Stick to THAT!

GET GUD!

Because I am getting sick and tired dragging players like you to wins when you simply and utterly don't deserve it...I/We cant kill the ships fast enough for you lemmings to sail in a straight line and die.

I'm inclined to agree , but more than that, I wonder if it would be an idea for all ships to have limited torpedo reloads. Maybe one or two per tube, with the ability to fire them individually, as with the British warships. It might prevent the upper tier torpedo soup. Of course, at the same time the aircraft production plant deep inside CVs would also have to be addressed
