i played for so many years in thousands of battles, and no matter how many times the game became toxic, for russian fantasy superweapons, or carriers with unlimited planes, i kept going cause i was stubborn

but now

with 200.000 coal and the marco polo awaiting me

with 24.000 steel and the shinano awaiting me at the next discount

i have to quit, cause your dumb patch makes my computer EXPLODE

game is heavy lagged, so much that i can't shoot at anything different from a bb under 10 km

and if i insist or too many ships come in my screen, the blue screen of the dead hits my pc, and i am forced to reboot, loosing whatever i had behind it

my pc is an asrock of over 1200 euro

already formatted

already upgraded the graphic drivers

already disinstalled and reinstalled the game from scratch

nothing works

so, congratulations on your wonderful patch, and see you

thanks for making me stop, it was becoming like a drug

i guess i will start play with a ps5, is also more ECONOMIC than a couple of ships here

byeeeee

Maybe you paid too much for the PC?

You could post the specs (CPU, memory, GPU etc) so we may have an idea what you're running the game on (and what settings you've used).

Did you install the game in your program files folder (if you have a 64bit system you will have two of those);

Spoiler

image.png.ea3683275e7dffce0f388d43fe46cafc.png

Edited: I bought a PC for £3000 back in the mid 2000s and it was a piece of crap (I bought it from a PC specialist).   It had a decent CPU and one of the top range nVidia GPUs including a SSD yet it could not run anything for long without overheating.

With some help I was able to identify that the idiots that built it had overclocked the PC to death - overclocking was never asked for and the company denied doing so.  I had to pay to send it back and a few months later it was returned and it still could not be used.  I ended up scrapping it - using the SSD and GPU for a PC I sourced from Dell (should have done that in the first place).

WoWs is optimized for low-end PCs (excluding some graphic effects that can be turned off/reduced), and "asrock 1200 euro" sounds good enough. Submit a WGCheck report with ticket?

You can find better assistance in a technical forum on how to track and fix the issue.

How much you spent on your PC means very Little.. Whate means a LOT is when you spent 1200Euro....  after all if you spent 1200€ 6 years ago you can hardly expect it to still cut it

It also depends on what you got for that 1200€ after all if it includes a 800Euro monitor.......

one thing you did not mention is the stats of you PC and also another thing you did not mention is how much space you have free on your OS partition.. Generally, you should have at least 2x your RAM in empty space for swap files

When you want to complain give people info .. Like spec of PC free space on HHD and the such.. people may then be able to help you...

There are a lot of IT experts (Im not one anymore) on this forum and most are more than willing to help as there good deed for the day

Look don't come here and mess up the point im trying to make  with your 12-year-old MAINFRAME super computer   :Smile_hiding::Smile_hiding:

That said your comment does support my statement.. it could well be he is doing something wrong...   I have not worked in Direct IT for close to a decade,(as in a support technician/Engineer)...

the number of times I fixed SLOW PCs by cleaning the Dust of the CPU heat sink. or cleaning up their 15 or 20 GB Desktop..... or found a users primary HD(OS HD) that  is 99% full

Last patch "did something" and I hear similar reports from other players. Play something else for now and try wows in a week or two - WG usually delivers a micro-patch pretty quick when something causes crashes with many users.

Hold up, you didn't buy the Asrock® explosion-free program for $99.99/year?

As others mentioned, WoWs is optimized also for low performance computers and also we don't have many reports from players about lags, freezes etc. since the implementation of current update.

Please try to contact Customer Support and include WGCheck there. That WGCheck is very imporant in order to identify what probably is wrong and what maybe is causing the issues.

You can try classic firewall exceptions, Check and Repair in WGC too.

I haven't noticed any change post update as opposed to before. If there are problems, it must be down to some very particular thing in the graphics or completely unrelated.

This game has a lot of problems but in this case I'd bet rather on 1200 euro PC or it's user.

They recently improved (gone are days of vanishing ships or game going into slide-show every time when a few ships and/or torps were spotted)

Either something is on it's way to PC Valhalla or it's poorly maintained.

A PC will only be as fast or capable as it's slowest or weakest component, no matter how many of it's individual compments you upgrade, etc. If you'd like people's help you need to share a little more info on your system and what you mean by 'explode'. Vagueness or hyperbole doesn't really help much here, we need specifics.

IDK M8 my rig has no trouble doing 60FPS in WOWS even with all stock speeds, I was just playing a battle while 7-zip was squishing a 40gb archive in the back and it worked ok...

Telling people the price of your system without any details is meaningless. My first system back in 1999 cost me £1500 and was a celeron 333mhz with an 8gb HD and 16mb RAM.. :Smile_hiding:

Setting are all in VERY LOW, the asrock use an nvida geforce, don't remember the specs and not bothering much rn with them. We are not in the 90, and a gaming computer can't become obsolete after 2 years

Mine was a pentium 1 with 8 mb, those were nice times, when you bought a pc and after an year it was already obsolete.

Now I am running an asrock bought in 2018 for 1300 €, and not beliving is already so obsolete to be unable fo run this fu. game in very low mode
