You can do this wargaming, you would not be nerfing a specific premium ship (that's single handedly ruining T10 for everyone) it's a general change to the game.

Wont stop thunderer and conq setting fires every single salvo. Unfortunately. The british bb line was a very stupid and ill thought out idea. I dont know how they justified to themselves removing HE from british light cruiser line to combat fire spam, then create the british bb line the smolensk and the colbert...

Just bring back double and triple CV games at TX, this will take care of the HE spammers and result in a much more balanced gaming experience for everyone :cap_rambo::Smile_hiding:

I would advocate 20% instead of 40. This way the t10 reduction puts it at 10% maximum chance. This is enough for high rate of fire ships to not be that much affected, but will reduce the burst chance sufficiently.

And while we are at it , lets remove SAP and lesson the the chance of AP shells arming.

 

Yes it is annoying but here I am in my little DD and all I have is my 100mm pom pom guns, may be we should increase the fire chance for DD if not they might as well just be removed from the game.

Yes sure l'm agree with this nerf of thuz unknow T10 premium and the Conqueror. I'm agree with changing all BBs are camping too ! 😉

its amazing how 4s loading cruiser players are complaning about bb's staying back

 

what would you want them to do ? come close so they get deleted in 30 seconds from a smoke cloud ?

I vote - remove HE from all BBs and give them short fused AP instead and long fused AP as no2 choice or if they absolutely have to have the HE then at least have all their HE shells capped to 1% fire chance instead...

The same logic applies to why cruisers hide in smoke/islands in the first place. 

 

What would you want them to do? Go out into the open and get one shot from overmatching BB's?

Imagine BBs being so cuddled, that they have no intention to learn anything which would prevent them to "melt" by a Cruiser... yeah, lets cuddle them even more.

OMG i pushed into 2 Smolensk' while a CV was spotting me, AND THEY BOTH DIED! Man these ships are so OP, BBs just melt in 10 secs, NUTTIN YA CAN DO MAN! Poor BBs, need buffz :Smile_unsure:

While removing HE shells from BB primary guns (and leave them on secondary guns) would be the obvious fix to this mess they created.

 

However - WG has a solid track record of not fixing stuff but making it worse/less bad by new introducing new problems.

 

Hence here is my suggestion: remove AA guns from all British BBs :Smile_trollface:

I would be happy with this - although I think the cap should be 45%. Ships like Vermont (48%), Kremlin (45%) and Republique (48%) aren't infamous firebugs and don't really need to be nerfed because of Thudnerer. That ship would still have lots going for it with a capped fire chance, just like Smolensk still does post-nerf, it just wouldn't be completely and horribly toxic anymore.

I would limit fire chance to 33% at max and remove the stupid alpha damage for HE shells. HE shells are stupidly effective - while that may be ok for Cruisers and small guns from a gameplay perspective it is uncalled for Battleships

And yet you have no idea in the balancing between ships. You think BBs are weak, and dakka-Cruisers are OP because their reload is so fast! Maybe play those ships before commenting on stuff you have no idea about. Only because in WoT it is like that, doesnt mean its the same way in WoWs...
