Been losing so many battles last week, and not even in a good way.

 

Looks like someone lost his or her trash and it keeps on ending up in my games.

 

Good thing WG put loads of shiny new details and gimmicks in game which make the game even more visually appealing and looking awesome.

 

And to make things worse the Random que consists of 100 BB compared to max 40 or 50 other ships of all classes combined if i am lucky.

 

Wish that WG put even 10% of the effort they put into the art department in improving the gameplay and overall experience.

But seriously i think it's time to call it quits and throw out the trash myself by just uninstalling this steaming pile of dung which WoWs has now become.

 

 

Ow and please don't judge me spamming the Black with the extra free xp and captain xp skin, i did not make the new skills up to 21 points, WG did.

This happens more and more often, on another note, i had my first draw in about 4 years a few days back, it made a nice change from roflstomps one way or another.

 

Games are over too fast these days, close games are almost non existant.

This is the reason I stopped playing. Unexplainable losingstreaks for days. Happens in the exact same way in WGs sistergame world of tanks aswell.

Its not bad luck, and its not "you had a bad day", if you believe in that rubbish then youre just gullible. Its all on purpose to trigger an obsessive addiction effect in people, similar to how casinos work, you win sometimes but lose most times.

Get Match Making Monitor and see the reason for yourself. 

 

The last time I put up screenshots of some of the most one-sided games and some of the most awful bots the game has seen, they took the thread down. 

 

Only yesterday we had a game that was a complete and total white wash, we didn't lose a single ship. I called it before the game and low and behold it came to pass. The enemy team had no chance whatsoever as it was a sea of red players. If you were unlucky enough to have been on that team, well that would have been another frustrating game with little you could have done. 

 

Basically, the game is nearly always decided before it starts. I've had a game where the average WR between the teams were as much as 20%! 

 

1 in about 10 games you might have a close match up and I would say 1- in 15 you can turn a really one-sided game if things go your way but the vast majority it was over before it began. Being in a Div increases your chances. 

 

My 59% WR is simply offset by my 41% team mate. 

 

Whichever team has the biggest muppets wearing red loses. They simply die before the small amount of good players can effect the game. 

 

So I look for the amount of bad players in each team, not the unicums. Had a ubber unicum div in the enemy team and I still made the call that they would lose. You know why? Because the rest of their team was complete trash and their DD players died like lemmings. 

 

This is the worst the game has ever been regarding player skill and we have to live with it or uninstall.

 

Play the game with divs to up your chances and join an active clan, thats the best way to carry on enjoying the game IMHO.

This is a more common sight  these days and this is my issue with people saying MM isn't broken or it works just fine. It bloody isn't because that's not even remotely balanced.

If its a time issue then stay in que longer until you find a higher percentage of balance. I don't mind waiting a little longer if it gives us a higher quality gaming experience. Surely that should be obvious to WG by now.

And why would they take it down on your previous thread if you have nothing to hide or its a uncommon scenario.?

I have been saying the same for years. I dont mind waiting a little longer if it means we dont end up with 5 radars on enemy team and none on ours for example. Same with win rate players balanced more equally.

MM needs serious work, fail divisions taking different tier ships needs to go, and MM needs to be more than based solely on ship classes.

I have had this experience as well. Sometimes it feels that match is decided before it begins. I will have games where my team will win even though I got majorly out of position running from a cruiser (or got killed by another DD while doing recon), and then I will have games where we lose despite me doing everything well. And I'm playing a destroyer, which is probably one of most important ships in terms of impact on the game.

Those games happen, especially during the weekend. Shrug it off and take a break if you're frustrated. If the match is short it is difficult to score well in a dd, but still: Ending up in the middle of the score board is hardly a carry. I would recommend ranked actually, as one can see, dds can have very good games there:

You should relax and take a few days off. This is not a losing streak. I had a streak of 22 losses out of 25 games. A friend of mine went all negative over the idea someone rigged his games, cause his winrate went down for a month. These things happen. Part of why they happen is that you let them get to you. You become insecure about your choices and you start making mistakes that you wouldn't if you weren't getting obsessed by the idea of some curse. Best thing to do is go easy, switch division mates a lot and play modes where winning or losing doesn't matter. Right now you got the luxury of having the game mode Big Hunt. It's all in your head, press the reset.

If only it were that simple. I see a lot of games where my team has average winrates 6% higher than the enemy team and these games are lost hard. We already got this insider joke of my div mate saying "This is a win." seeing the line-up and me going "Well, let's see about that." It's not so much the quality of the players as it is the mentality. The good players start being selfish, caring about their XP. They have a certain impacton the game, since they reliably inflict good damage on the enemy. But they want to stay in game and farm damage as along as possible, so they suddenly are all clustered up. We see these huge blobs of green to purple players. Some people even argue this is super-unicum strategic thinking, cause they let the enemy overextend and shoot them to bits as they arrive, while people like me defend empty flanks and get outgunned eventually.

But the thing is, I see these battles being lost way more often than they should be won, if you just look at the difference in team stats. So this move is rather super-unicomical. It allows good players to survive and come top and pad themselves on the back, when they actually threw the game.

 

That is why I think the recent steam-rolls go beyond matchmaking.

Havent played both those ships for months maybe longer besides occasionally a few battles if i needed a mission done, good thing many people only come here to dis others, get a life and stop being toxic

 

I'm just fed up with the unbalanced meme matches, that's the reason i post these things.

Maybe you are one of those people who like be dumped on and actually enjoy it, I'm not one of those people.

Don't mind losing, hell i won't even mind if the game is fun, i play games to have fun and engaging times, nothing more..

 

None of these battles i posted were fun nor engaging and i can't believe people who played for the other side felt any better.

That is what i try to visualize and would like WG to address nothing more nothing less.

WG and their holy spreadsheet does not tell the whole story and we all know it.

This was not one day sadly, actually uninstalled last Monday after even a worse stretch than the one i posted here.

 

Did not play till Friday, a few clan mates showed up and tried divisions.

And then i posted this, Ive had bad streaks and of course good ones but nothing like these appalling atrocities of games tied together.

 

Even with Divisions its no fun a.t.m. , even saw a few TEAR clan players who hopped from team to team like we did, they luckily also ended up on the winning side a few times.

That is the average. Depending on the week I can go from 20% to 80% win rate. What matters to me however is that my overall win rate has been increasing since I started playing a destroyer.

 

That being said, your advice is definitely something I should probably listen to. I sometimes make a mistake of playing a game even when I'm frustrated or not concentrated because I want to try out a new tactic / a fix to a mistake in my approach that I have noticed, as soon as possible. Not the best habit to have, as I usually end up screwing up even harder...

 

EDIT: I will definitely check out ranked someday, but maybe random is better for learning teamplay?

If you want to learn teamplay find a decent to good clan and play clan wars. The pressure is very high, but I for one learnt so much there.

Disagree, I find your opinion too general to be true. I had a couple of special days recently and I know that it didn't get to me, I continued to play my game. Even turned one day of 25% wins into a 45% day with the last few battles.
