  • WG gives Marco Polo better precision than the tech tree ship
  • WG releases steel ship with endless and buffed reload booster consumable
  • WG artificially limits "overperforming" premiums such as Graf Spee, Z-39 and Haida (LOL) only to get hold of more filling material for the next loot box short lists, mark my words
  • On top of that more new ship atrocities are waiting to be released (See Flamu's new powercreep video) and the new german DDs are dead on arrival including the shipyard vessel (who would have thought)

Or simply balanced them after the fact. WG could give the owners an additional ship with the original stats for use in PvE only, to relive the OP memories.

To give an incentive to buy, apply pressure on the players willing to spend money. Then artificially removing these "op" ships. Then reintroducing them, but only in loot boxes, where the chances are very limited to get one of these "rare" and "op" ships. Profit. It is a genious marketing strategy. This way WG generates the regular revenues from the ship sales, then everyone is discussing how strong they are. New players need to get those ships, but they cannot get hold of them. So whenever possible, they get themselves lured into buying loot boxes. Imagine there are players who cashed in $ 500 just do get the Missouri or Belfast. It is like selling drugs. Giving away free or cheap samples. When people got hooked say you do not have any more. You could get some, but it is way riskier now and you would need to ask for x10 of the price. ^^

It is a good idea to give containers with a chance to get premium ships for free instead than dobloons, I was just thinking to buy some of them now I wait the end of the 10.2.

 

And I love the Dasha Italian commander, because...I love Dasha.

 

I hate no smoke on Marco Polo without giving it back the HE! all othe IT premiums have HE and no smoke (exept Leone)....will people spend 228k coal on Marco Polo or Pommern !?

 

And the absurdly long reload time on IT BBs tier IX-X, only the US Kansas-Vermont tier has worse, but those ships all carry 406- 457 guns and many more of them! 

I have not seen the stats, guess the ADPM of IT BBs will be worse of all.

Well, that is unwanted by the community. That was shown well enough when they tried something with cäsare. When you need to organize refounds, different ship versions and stuff like that its just not worth it in comparison to just remove the ship from sale and move on.

I'd also like to know - the ships in early access, if I grind XP on them, can I unlock the next one? E.g. if I grind F Caracciolo can I :

  1. unlock V Veneto during early access
  2. gain XP and use this XP to unlock V Veneto after early access
  3. neither of the above, XP during early access can't be used.

Concerning the ships to be removed:

 

Are they going to be removed before the coupons are being refreshed?

 

I can understand some of the ships are quite powerful. Others can only be classified as overpowered, if you define overpowered as "2 percentage points above average". That again makes me wonder how Wargaming intends to balance future releases within such a tight threshold. If you balance premium ships you then literally punish the ship for the widely used possibility to use maxxed commanders on them, cause you will e.g. hardly find a T6-tech-tree ship that features a maxxed captain. This especially holds true with the commander rework, where I can have a dedicated build for a premium ship. You will probably even see lots of unique commanders on it. So consequently that increases the performance of the ship, tho the properties that cause this are not part of the ship. I doubt Wargaming goes into detail that much to decompose the effects of commanders, years of experience of its average player and ship on its stats.

 

I especially want to make a case for the Graf Spee. We are talking about one of the few designs that have a historic relevance. You can't remove Graf Spee just as you can't remove Emden, Warspite or Yamato. That would demonstrate a lack of respect for the whole theme. These ships are the inspiration behind your game. Without ships like Graf Spee and their authentic stories, there would be no World of Warships. Also the maplysyrup numbers show 8k battles played in Graf Spee within a week as compared to 22k battles in the Nürnberg and 30k battles in the Bayern in the respective time period. That does not seem to be overly popular. Since it has been given away for free twice, I don't see the harm in keeping it available to new players. But that's me.

I watched the video and asked myself: what is this game about again?

The ships can be substituted for fluffy alien zombies for all I care - it suits the narrative and weird music choice better, that's how much this team is focusing on actual warships combat these days. :Smile_sceptic:

SFX are not working. No welding sparks, no AA animations, no wave distortions from main gun fire, ship fires look exactly the same, ship explosions look exactly the same, shell water hit look exactly the same, torpedo looks the same, no parachutes and corkscrewing aircraft deaths. 

My GFX settings are maxed out.  GForce 1080.  Checked the settings and there is no option for please tick here for all the hyped up new SFX.  Do I need to reinstall the client?

This is nothing but a straight out lie and you should have just kept silence instead of posting such bs and lying into our faces. You can easily look up battles played per ship, as you can read above. Especially T-61 and Erich (CV) from the start were very powerful and climbed the top rank of their class and tier with less battles than all the other ships. You know why you add powerful tools to the game, only to artificially limit them again. Taking Spee out of the store and the other ships only serves one purpose, to reintroduce them in boxes. And you know it. How can you blatantly lie into our faces? It is ridiculous and you should really feel ashamed. It is ridiculously unprofessional what you are doing over and over again. What an amateurish CM you are.

About €200 should suffice for this soon to be tech tree ship, dont grind ship lines anymore, just buy them! Thanks for supporting our :etc_swear: practices. We would ask you how you feel in a poll but you would give the wrong answer.

Well he kinda has a point. The graphics improvements are all client side, so there seems to be little reason to wait for SERVER patches to activate them ....
