The preview looks really encouraging. Can't wait to see the effect of a broadside on the water, or a secondary BB firing from both sides.

i don't really know how they will actually look in game, but from the pictures posted, all the effects seem smaller and lighter and i am not sure i like that. Was a fan of big guns muzzle flash , fires and smoke, full of tracers AA fire ...

Now we need a new key in graphic settings to remove all that cr.. not nessecary for playing the game

I have stopped using engine room protection for same reason. Because ships like my Smaland loses engine from every near-miss, so Last Stand has to do it. With a "stunned" engine I can somewhat do my work but when the armament is permanently gone - that´s bad. And on some ships TTs are the main armament.

its supposed to help the AA mounts. But since the game doesn't list any information on how durable the mounts are to begin with, the +100% is of arguable value anyway.

I would also like to add that the anchors for the chat and map should be movable so that when using super ultra wide screen we can still have the UI within a reasonable view.

Damn, this is really too much, indeed. I suppose it is the same in Vanilla client, right?

Please try it without any mods and if that would still be the same, make a similar screenshot a please create a Bug Report ticket for Customer Support. They are the main point of contact for gathering bugs.

I know it's too much to include all the reworked effects in this article but I really hope you reworked sinking animations as well and added different animations for destruction. Because those two needed reworking the most. For example it's weird to ram the ship and the explosion is the same as if it was destroyed by a shell. And sinking animations are just bad and twitchy now so I hope they will be better also.

To be honest, I am also kinda surprised, that those sinking effect are not listed in this article, as it is something, that is being talked about for some time. Especially when now we make plenty of visual improvements right now.

Actually, probably this will be changed a lot when (if) Submarines will arrive again, because there, what is happening underwater matters, so also certain parts of ships falling to the sea bottom... well, we will see

Testing haven't finished yet, so who knows, what will be their final fate. But it is highly likely, that they will be part of live server in future. But when and how exactly, too soon to make a statement.

I see, well as all those changes has been made, it is also possible we will have those other aesthetics part in future. Especially while we have some kind of lights when damage control party is active...

In fact i noticed that the lights do light up but only when the ship is on fire, i wish they light up more often during normal situation, i enjoy it.

That sounds really good. I personally like the suggestion for the light searching for planes in bad weather conditions. Honestly it would be better if we would have night battles, or very dark maps.

what about that? BUT

no difference of fog level for low quality graphics vs higher quality graphics preset.

What I personally think about that?

Personally I would be completely up for that. We had Cherry Blossom operation and I liked that, so I was expecting that was testing ground and we can expect night battles in other modes.

But this didn't happen so far. So it seems, there were some technical difficulties, as I am sure that devs wanted to have that option in Random battles too.

We will see in future. As you can see every year kinda allows to unlock new options, game is getting improved on visual and also performance levels, so I hope we will have that again some day in future.

Hopefully you realize, that I never said to make it like it is on the picture. The picture is just the proof of, how often ships burnt down. It was a lot smoke, not less.

 

Read the text: I said, it seems that they reduced the smoke from that, what we currently have.

tried it with mogador yesterday, i guess the bloom produced by the explosion

(what i think) and noticed
