if you dont play for caps, then why you should get the chance to win ?

When you cannot win with all caps, you do not deserve to win. Do not throw your ships away.

Nope, so if there is a DD VS BB,  DD will win every time as speed difference means The DD will be in the cap every time. And for randoms if you let the red team cap they are stuck with your team all around them and will be easy targets.

if you yolo, there is good chance, that you will not hold all the circles at the same time.

I saw way too many battles, where some ships didnt care about cap at all, they just abused people trying to play for cap and since the points are slow to get to 1000 they managed to destroy they easily

If you have all the caps, you win. Unless you decide to "win harder" instead of defending your caps, in which case, you deserve to lose for being dumb.

It isn't, nor should it be IMO. Those caps are an entirely artificial gimmick substituting the real thing (map control/victory conditions/forced retreat). Their only purpose is to shorten the battle, not to resolve it, unless the enemy is completely inept. Obviously, if you manage to hold the caps and keep your numbers intact, you will win, probably relatively quickly. If you start overextending (as pointed out in above posts), you risk defeat. In a game built on maximising damage, it's a safe bet your team will push and risk defeat which will leave the window open for the enemy team to exploit your mistakes.

Disagree. I have been in battles where a team holding all caps at onw time loses the match in the end.

Absolutely awful idea, because it lowers the xp gained by the winning side (ie hurts them) at least as much as it does the losing side.

Wouldn't it bit great if WG would manage to implement "retreating" by having ships that touch a mapborder for an extended time (like... 15 seconds?) taking out of the battle with a message for the player "You retreated from battle" and counting that ship as sunk for determing the score...

All the lulz we would have... all the salt in forum...

You push frontline and you earn points based on that.

 

Cruisers are, nowadays, least attractive ships to play (at least the light cruisers), so these ships can move frontline easier than some battleships.

If you control at least 50% of the map, you will earn points (and experience at the end of battle), less camping, more strategical battle

So in Brawls only suitable ship should be french DD, as it is the fastest and therefore can cap all the zones much sooner.

Honestly, this is not a good idea what you suggest now.

 

I am pretty sure, that you saw that plenty times in battles, that enemy manage to cap all caps, but your team is somehow working together and manage to sink enemy ships and taking over the caps again. Capped caps gives you point advantage and I agree, there should be more things to force people to play for caps. But it definitely shouldn't be the only way to win the match.

This genuinely is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard of. Do you want to hop into port after 5 minutes of stale and unrewarding gameplay? Absolutely not. Sure, it makes the gameplay more thrilling and would make every second count. If you kill the enemy, why should you deserve to win, is basically what you're asking.

Here's a crazy idea, a golden "I win" button. Every time you press it you pay the price of a premium ship of the tier in dubs and get a 3000bxp win.

WG should really monetize this.

They have that button in World of Tanks; I think it's the "2" key...? :cap_yes:

 

(I don't want that button in World of Warships.)
